Demon farm calculator
In TEW IV Commodus' Revenge there is a calculator*; but is there an external tool which considers if EoL (Elixir of Life) or any of its components are equipped, and if the target to be farmed has at least 35 health and the count of the stack?
What do you do to easily keep track of how should you split your pit lords to farm efficiently?
According the helper in TEW 10k Pit Lords can raise 14166 Horned Demons.
The formula is:
min(floor(min([dead_count]*[dead_single_health], [pit_lord_count]*50)/35), [dead_count])
Examples:
1 Pit Lord can summon up to 50 health points worth of Demons;
so 100 Pit Lords can rez up to 5000 hp worth of Demons.
One Demon has 35 hp; so 100 Pit Lords can rez up to 142 Demons
vica:
5000 (total HP rez ability) / 35 (single demon hp) = 142,8571428571 (total demon count)
& versa:
142 (Demon) * 35 (Demons HP) = 4970 hit points
with different units:
- Pikeman has 10hp by default; +4+25%(?) with the EoL; so 350 Pikeman = 3500HP + 4 (from elixir) * 350 (number of units) = 4900 HP == 142 demons; but with 25% the total hp is 6125... which translates to 175 demons; but it is 142 anyway. Why?
(Total health of demons summoned this way cannot exceed the total health of the dead stack nor can the number of demons exceed the number of creatures in the dead stack.) It does not exceed.
- Crew Mates have 15 hp; 243 units have 243*15+243*4 = 4617 hp == 142 demon
- Dwarf has 20 hp; 175 dwarf = 172*20+172*4 = 4128 = 142 demon
Interesting thing, that when the EoL is not combined the +25% does not apply and it makes the resurrection less efficient:
- 100 medusa (25 hp per unit) converts to 100 demons with EoL; 82 demons with +4 hp pieces (but not combined into EoL); and 71 demons without any hp boosting artifact
(25 base hp + 4 hp from Eol = 29 + 25% = 36,25 hp per unit which is enough for exactly one demon)
- 525 dwarfs converts to 435 demons with EoL; 360 disassembled EoL; 300 without EoL
- 1050 pikeman converts to 480 with Eol; 420 w_disabl.EoL; 300 demons w.o. EoL
*these calculations are based on sufficient Pit Lord count.

I just farm stacks of 35 trash mobs at a time, no need for any calculations.

TEW4 demon farming calculator only displays the max you can farm with your available pitlords number, because in tew4 you can boost familiars up to 35 HP each (15 HP + 2 from rings x 2 from ACE level), so probably no use for other than TEW4.

To anyone reading this post I'd like to point out the following, to avoid confusion:
You see that in the second example exactly 3x more Pikeman (3*350 = 1050) converts to 160 demons; and here in the first it is only 142.
The reason is that in the second example I've been using 1k Pit Lords, while in the first it was only 100.
So because of wearing EoL in the first example we need at least 123 Pit Lords as 6125 (350 pikeman total health) / 50 (hp raised by a single pit lord) = 122.5.
Anyhow I still don't understand why it maximum 160 demons instead 175 demons...
(even 1k or more Pit Lords can raise only 160 demons from 350 pikeman)
(6125 / 35 = 175)

(6125 / 35 = 175)
The +25% hp is added to the creature's base health, not including the +4 from the artifact components.
So a pikeman has 10 * 1.25 + 4 = 16 hp. 350 * 16 is 5600, and that divided by 35 is 160 demons.

Ah, so first the 25% is applied and then +4.
Good to know.
