Spell book and war machines as artifacts on the map?

I read an article about the spell book here: https://heroes.thelazy.net/index.php/Spell_Book

It says that in "advanced maps" it is possible to place the spell book as an artifact.
Does any one know a map that does this, so I can copy it from there or is there another way to place a spell book as an artifact on the map?
And can the same be done with Ammo Cart, Ballista, Cannon and First Aid Tent?

By "advanced maps" read Era/WoG.
Yeah! Spellbook is an artifact and can be placed on the map, as well as war-machines. I've killed two catapults, destroyed a wall placed on the map with one and got screwed by a ballista, just yesterday...
But you want see Crag & Serena levelled and to complain about that until others do something about it, so you experience half (if so) of what Homm III modding has to offer.

But fair enough, "advanced maps" apparently refers to Era/WoG, got it.

Right, this time it's more me complaining that you don't even try the game possibilities.
I'm guessing, by now, you and I are between the very few active members of this community who still play Heroes III regularly, so I get disappointed when I see you've experienced so little of it but hey! at least you're playing.

If Era/WoG was compatible with HotA, I might have experienced it, but there is no point when they are not compatible.

I play HotA with HD Mod exclusively, with my own modding as well, as you know.

I think there are still quite a decent number of people playing H3, does'nt mean they all post regurlarly on HC though.

The game is pretty much alive, new maps, new mods, thousands of on-line matches everyday, the success of streamers like Lexiav and Glenn, you name it. It's this community that looks like Biden...
But I repeat, you have experienced half (if so) of what Homm III modding has to offer.

Place this text file into your Data folder and you'll have the Spell Book, War Machines and the Grail as placeable objects at the top of the artifacts tab in your HotA Map Editor. (It's the default text file from the latest HotA.lod with the requested artifacts quickly added.)

Or place these lines into your own EdObjts.txt if you have one:

The artifacts work fine, the only problem is that they don't have visual sprites. Replace the ***.def name in the text file to whatever you want the objects to look like.

Forgot the Cannon. The artifact ID is 146, so add this line with the others. (At the top of the file in the link I posted.)
