Your fav phoenix recolor

Over the years there have been multiple phoenix recolors in many mods. Gotta say - the phoenix does lend itself better to recoloring than many other NWC units and while the technique remains as lazy as ever, the effects are sometimes admittedly aesthetically pleasing. My personal ranking is below, starting with the least favorite:

4 - The ashy version of Sacred Phoenix - remains relatively close to the original phoenix's color scheme, but is a bit lighter and most impoortantly, contains brown accents all around. These feel like they're supposed to represent ash or something, but the brown extends to the flames at the top of the unit, generally looking awkward and plain ugly.

3 - Sacred Phoenix MK2/Divine Phoenix - very bright orange to the point where the color white takes over much of the composition. Kinda looks like scrambled eggs because of that, and for that reason doesn't approach numbers 2 or 3 unfortunately. Also, some of the original unit's fidelity is lost to the white color.

2 - Divine Phoenix - just because blue fire is an interesting real life concept and it does lend itself well to the concept of the phoenix unit. The hue is a bit strong and could probably have been done subtler, but blue is still an interesting angle.

1 - Sacred Phoenix - the OG of the OGs of Phoenix recolors, they've been with us since the olden days of WoG. They've got a tastefully chosen faint golden hue that really helps sell the whole "sacred fire" thing. Almost, borderline deserving of being a legitimate unit in the game.

What are your personal fav phoenix recolors?

Definitely number 4!
others are cool too, like divine could be alternative choice, as more magical creature, rather than just elemental bird based on fire, or divine could be "frostfire" variant, but personally i am choosing number 4

I love the "blue fire" recolor.

To me, blue fire aesthetically reads like hotter fire, appropriate for an upgrade in some form to the Phoenix.
