I guess I could also ask what you think about the 4 elemental orbs?
Is'nt +50% damage perhaps a bit too much?

My zeal or passionate damage spells are higher than normal.. But I'm bad at/in math.. Only I look at large number.. Think about 5000 between 5500 Implosion damage.. I can think that Archangel has 250hp.. If better Marksmen or Royal Griffins, for example.. 5000 damage can cast a Implosion to Archangel..
Remember WoG showed creature like F. Dragon cast a Implosion.. I think first Sal got an idea to his map.. But ok, in H4 damage spells changed balance, so hero casts 90 Implosion damage, if owned scroll.. And then Sorcery skill with reaches in about 900, if I remember right, but creature like Evil Sorceress can cast 9000k Implosion damage.. Genies and F. Dragons can also cast 9000k damage or more damage, when maximum 500k of Evil Sorceresses.. One E. Sorceress has 90 damage.. You notice scroll without Sorcery skill is 90 damage.. Improvement and development matter.. But no one can play well.. Think if HotA nerfed damage spells.. You don't know how to play.. Thus H5 or esp. H8..

You clearly have no clue how I play. I don't use them cause an Offense/Archery specialist (always my main specialties) with a pack of angels, a throng Sharpshooters, a horde of Enchanters and the Armor of the Damned at 1/1/7 doesn't need them.

I only like Fire orb due to fire shield.
I like to maximize fireshield benefit: armorer, shield, stone skin, & orb of fire.
if armorer reduces damage by 50%, fire shield damage is not reduced.
On the other hand, if Attack/offense increase damage, fireshield damage is increase.
However, if unit dies, fireshield will only reflect 30% of its HP. in this last case when your unit completely dies, armorer, shield, or defence skill all do not benefit you in damage return.
correct me if I'm wrong, but thats iirc during the tests.
all other elemental orbs are boring.
