The Twilight problem

Welcome to the Twilight zone!
I thought this spell deserved its own thread. Here are the main issues I see with it, along with a few suggestions for possible fixes.
Feel free to share your thoughts or alternative ideas - the more perspectives, the better!
The Twilight spell feels overtuned right now. Its mass version completely shuts down ranged units and even adds a 15% melee penalty, effectively deleting half the creatures of the game in practice. This makes it far superior to other Tier 3 Nightshade spells and removes strategic variety, as creeping becomes trivial once you get it. On top of that, erasing ranged units altogether with no viable counter simply isnt fun and makes encounters feel one-dimensional.
Suggestions:
Remove the mass version entirely, or make it available only at Tier 5, although the former is likely the better option.
If kept at 100% reduction, keep it single-target but allow it to affect two targets at higher mastery or for a longer duration.
If kept as mass, reduce its effect to around 40%, similar to the Arcane counterpart.
At Tier 3, Twilight is simply too strong for its cost and availability. Adjusting its scaling or design would help maintain both balance and gameplay variety without removing its tactical appeal.

The spell is one level (not tier) too good.
I would suggest this:
Level 1: Target troop loses 50% ranged damage and 25% Long Reach damage
Level 2: Duration +1
Level 3: Target loses 100% Ranged damage and 50% Long Reach damage
Level 4: Target loses 100% Ranged da,age, 50% Long Reach damage and 25% Melee damage.

Remove mass and make it pricy. The spell alone is fine, probably because I liked using it
