Diplomacy, The Game Winner . "most underrated skill
One point First. yes diplomancy is a iffy skill for main hero (but i sometimes play games where only one hero is allowed)
But as a skill for a secondary hero, it is a must!!!
In the computer cafe where i game, we usually play on a lan network of about 20-40 computers, and always play on a random map.
This is the only skill where you game drastically change the make-up of your army. show me anyone you doesn't want 150 free mighty gorgons, or of almost any other creature out there. (One time i had 2 stacks of red dragons of 50 creatures each join, and then a trip to your local hillfort)
If you joining stacks don't fit into your main army they have many, many other uses, i.e.
-army for your third or fourth hero to go soften up a town
-used for defending your home town
-used for guarding mines
-used at a freelancers guild!!!! or alter of sacrifice!!!
after all this it comes down to FREE CREATURES MEAN MORE FIREPOWER. EITHER ON THE MAIN LINE OR IN RESERVE
I have only one question? does anyone know what the stats are for the 3 different diplomacy artifacts. all they say is it reduces the cost of surrendering, By how much? what about joining creatures?

my grandma play with diplo on randoms - whoever thinks diplo is underrated on randoms needs help.....

Good point Motors,
Im sure the reason why you dont like randoms is that GrandmaSchaaf kills ya on them all the time

Diplo is not underrated at all. I usually play necro and i have 1-4 secondary heroes. All of them having diplomacy and my skeleton transformer ready to go in the town, my skels will grow up very very fast.....

that is do you know the exact stats and benifits of the 3 different diplo artifacts, the ring, the necklace and the sash

yepp, coz its underrated most play with a "no diplo" rule on randoms...before you toss: go play some games online on the zone, if you didnt yet: you a tosser-wannabe that knows not much

if ya ever see WhiteLeviathan online on the zone just take a look at his room header
edit: it was meant to be an irony, but you took it wrong way
I know darn well that diplo(one sided)=win/game breaker.
that is why I put "no joiners" rule (cuz sometimes ppl do not get what "no diplo" is)
