Thought the same thing Midnight until I found that scouting specialty seemed a lot more useful in this game. With Expert pathfinding and above on one of your heroes, you can cover a pretty good stretch of turf.
Tactics makes a big difference as well I've found plus when a hero hits his combo bonuses............. well, there's too many to list here. suffice it to say that heroes can compliment each other now which is a nice touch

HMM, HMM2, HMM3, AoW, AoW2, Warlord, Warlord2 - this is the truth !!!
^^^ Of course there are lots of other games which are my favourote too but they are of the same kind(sort) but I most prefer HMM3,AoW and Warlord2 ^^^
I enjoy to see that there are lots of pepole here who's thinking like me,infack that something which have totaly changed can't be the in the same order with the other and i think that it have to be a new one.
But anyway - there are people which think in other way and I'm very glad of that.
Let`s more money, women, drink and Hewi Metal !!!

OOooh god...some guys just know it all..
sure..game could be better(like homm3 could be hellotsbetter)...but...eventually it's all about playing with ppl..isnt'?---sooo--why dont let the criticism(or is that whining?) aside and let a 'crappy' game a break...!

I like AoW 2 and warlords 2 too but i think you wrong man to say bullshet about Homm 4 you didnt played in multi yet and i wonder what you will say if after multi patch people will enjoy game and will say good things about it And btw you said homm 4 is not heroes game it is like AoW 2 i think it is more like Homm 2 only with one difference superior strategy And remember you learn by doing! Explore and experiment!

The only problem I have found besides rocky graphics, is that you lose your hero first...well i do, but i have found that in hotseat it is best to kill the opponents hero FAST before he casts on you and kills you so u dont cast on him lol. anyways just my 2 cents, [not that its worth a dime =O)] But in many ways it is more enjoyable than HOMM3, and in ways it is not.. so give and take i guess lol.

I think you wrong man do you play often singleplayer in homm 3? Who needs singleplayer? Ofcourse fun is in multiplayer when you play vs human intellect and i think homm 4 will be great for true hardcore players Btw on celestial heaven and ag.ru already information about fixes in multi patch go and read it looks like it will be very playable

If opponent will have 2 or 3 heroes + troops you will think 10 times before to kill fast hero or kill his troops for first time it looks so easy just to kill first hero but in multiplayer vs expirienced players it will be not so easy Even to kill high lvl hero with immortality potion not easy And you forget about magic resistance if opponent cast spell on you it may fail + line of sight if hero will stay on back line and blocked by troops you will be not able to cast magic on him it also work for your creatures and if spellcaster will stay in the middle back line it will be not possible to hit him or cast magic on him unless if you have black dragon with breath attack or cyclopes

for me grafics is not important - just game is sux. If I like look butiful grafics or pictures - go in 1 site and look ... but i like play ...
