I don't remember the name of the scenario or the campaign, but I do remember it was one of the early maps, so Sandro hadn't any of his combo artifacts yet. I'm also pretty sure Finneas Vilmar was not present, and the event triggered when you were about to attack a group of dwarves protecting a Rampart.

No, it hasn't, but there were enough complaining about that when the expansion reached the light. One possible reason could be that being SoD a standalone program an additional video sequence would have exceeded the CD storage limit, but I'm not saying I think so.

he is indeed a magnificent hero...he is immortal and in h4 he ended up a nobody...that isnt possible...something must be done!

Maybe a campaign ? He lost all his lands, during the reconging.. it would be nice time to take them back... Maybe a fight btween Tarkin, Galdoth and Sandro ?

I hate sandro i wish someone would kill him permenatly by any means possible like in say o a campaign in h5 maybe kill him and end his misserable life or what ever is left of him

I wouldn´t mind Sandro going down if 3DO gave him a worthy sortie. Imagine, Sandro vs the world. The vast armies of the free lands is closing in on his Stronghold in some old knights castle which he has transformed into an abominous hive of darkness. In the top of his tower, Sandro speaks the lament of the damned. The soldiers in the front lines freeze in terror while others go insane. Suddenly, a cold wind pass through the misty landscape, and the earth starts moving. Hands clawing their way through the grey soil. Darkness clenches the hearts of the weary. Wraiths, souls that had been cursed into undeath, vampires, Dragons who weren´t allowed to pass into the sacred realm as their lives ended, either by action or denied by those who would force them to serve, performing horrendous deeds, denying them of their final sleep. Coming from near and far, some could be seen as terrible shapes drawn onto a foreboding moon. And the battle begun...
Don´t take it that I would like to destroy Sandro. He´s the definite highlight in heroes, But a legend that have been lived is much greater than a legend being stumbled upon.

I say keep Sandro!
And about him being a warlock in HoMM1 while being a lich...
Well, in HoMM2 Warlocks had a small chance of learning necromancy (once I've seen a bug - my warlock turned into a necromancer when he learned it  ). Supposing that he did learn necromancy in HoMM1, but was practising it secretly, and thus still officially being a warlock?

Sandro should definatley be in HOMM5. Its a tradition for him to be in a HOMM game. He shouldn't be exculded from this next HOMM. Alamar was in 1,2,3 but i can't remember is he in 4? Or Solymyr was he in 1 and 2? Because he is a bad ass. And one more question, in Loynis in HOMM4? In HOMM3 if you got expert water magic with him, that mass prayer helped alot
Sandro must stay!
