anyways i think the other mods outside of ToH side of things have gotten the wrong idea about qp's (personal opinion) because it says "red stars are for the top 2% of posts" now if you ask me the mods of ToH are the tightest arses when it comes to those little red thingys. I had made a couple posts that were much more informitive than many I have seen in other forums, that did receive stars, and still no QP, but who cares ...I certainly dont care whether i do or not .. i am who i am like me hate me, up to you.
But my point which always seems to take a hour to get to is that if the other moderators took on ToH's attitude .. things wouldn't be so bad....
on another note to make sure i am not kissing anybodys bloody butt... all of them have been notified by my signature if you know what I mean. ;P

My post about the closed thread, was simply to find out why? The moderation of the board has tightened up ALOT..and that is fine. But I merely asked the question so that I and everyone else that posts knows what our limits are? Why did you take such offense? I merely am asking for clarification so I can make more effective proper posts in the future.
I apologize that I got confused and needed to ask... in this very thread there are several TOSS posts about StarTrek( which I am a Next Generation Man my self) and even though they are clearly NOT on topic they were not deleted. I am not complaining, but this is where my confusion comes in. Why are some posts deleted for being off topic.. yet others are left??
I never want hostility or hard feelings... I am beginning to think this message board is a CURSE.. All I see from it is arguing and hardfeelings as a result of it

If there is no arguments, then how are we supposed to communicate 50% of the time?
Jinxer dont be so glum in the weird mood & is all good.
Zud has always been quete (except with woman)so dont feel so bad & just have fun & keep flaming which seems the only form of communication except heroes business talk  .

Actually Jinxer, my first Star Trek comment was on topic if you count the fact that I was not-so-subtly making the connection between Warf's attitute and yourself...you come across as grumpy on occasion but just like Worf, everybody seems to like you (As opposed to Acu, Andi and Motor who seem to collectively [what the h_ll, a pun...] act like and be as well liked as the Borg.) Unfortunately, I am also exposing my nerdiness in this process but it is nonetheless gratifying to notice that there are at least several others who are obviously as amused by the multiple levels of irony in the sub-topic as I am. You also have to admit that Ves' epiphany at realizing the "kalar" reference is a priceless moment. I can just imagine him sitting up abruptly in his chair and banging his head on a lamp shade when that thought popped into his head....

And me grumpy??? Naaa just most of the time strongly misunderstood. Being good with words and a good diplomat is NOT my strong point hehe.
BTW Zud finally replyed and answered my questions... he was in middle of playing. Go figure

I am sorry to putting my word here but i want to add my 2 cents or dog peaces or whatever it's called I think Jinxer is right people need to think more deeper and see in real reason where from coming disput and dont show to much good words and wortless diplomatic i think it is dumb to be sheep from nature and act like super intellect

Well, some mods DID go ballistic on my recent threads, but well, I can understand it. BUT I REALLY WANT TO KNOW IF ANYONE PLAYS AT THE ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOONE!!! (( WAAAH WAAAH MOMMYY!!!!!!
I also think that my crap thread in the tavern shouldnīt have been locked

this being my point i couldn't agree more...children will be children whether or not you give them a shiny red apple.
further more jinx you are misunderstood... almost as often as I am lol. I tend to write fast, and be blunt, which I understand, or you understand or Zud understands, or rob, and then it gets (EDIT)misinterpreted

That's a fair statement Legolas. Intellectual elitism can be every bit as annoying a sheer stupidity when taken to an extreme. I stand chastised.
However, let me explain to you my intent. Within the context of a community message board I try to inject a lighter mood whenever possible. Star Trek just happened to be the foil to a difficult subject and I enjoyed running with it.
I think Jinxer has a valid point--free speach and all. I also sympathize with Zud having to moderate some of the free speech that is flying around. It is clear to me that they both would like this to be a fun place around here for everyone. Solution? I guess some people just leave, others dig in and try to sling mud faster and harder than others--I revert to sarcasm, puns and innuendo. In the end, this is the community that we have and I'm just amazed that Jinxer and Zud care enough to spend time talking about issues.
My personal preference for making this forum a better place would be to delete all threads where you know people are using bad english on purpose or out of laziness. I admit that it is just a pet-peeve of mine and for most people this probably is not an issue of note. But I can't help but suspect that people would write better thoughts if they spent the time to construct sentences properly and add puctuation.
[Please, no flames about how for many people english is a second language. I have respect for them. However, there is usually an obvious difference between them and what I am talking about.]
Next, I would arbitrarily kick everyone out who didn't agree with me....
