He can simply play the game, then register, then report. It's not that big of a deal. This is being blown out of proportion. He has the same deadline as everyone else Dec. 6th. If he has been somewhat out of touch with what is going on with TOH he may not realize that the automation is new and would therefore need to reregister. The only reason he knew to register for the tournament is because Motor and Andi sent out emails inviting old vets and some of the newer people to play in it. This email including a direct link to the MapMasters pages which would mean that he and other players would NOT have had to even look at the main site to know about the tournament and get registered as the email that was sent said "all you need to do is reply to this email." My point is, I think we need to get all the facts before we start throwing gauntlets out on the ground. And I think we need to exercise the same patience and understanding in this situation as we would with any other. We ALL agreed to let the HOS be reset and give players another chance, this is a decision we NEED to stick to for the good of everyone. People CAN change and if they don't, everyone knows what to look for and they will get caught. I have CONFIDENCE in the Honor Council team we have selected and know that they will deal with any issues in a timely manner.

just so ya all know, the changes to block template now displayed on TOH H3 site were in the first rmg already, so if ya been practicing on it, there is no difference. At least u know why it was harder to expand than usual  Only tunnels has any variation, and that is minor.
2.
If u use a 3rd party host it is essential that he/she use tan for block template. this is cuz the block is only between red and blue. This is also why the block template is bad for ffa games.
3.
Open for debate, but i suggest 3rd party host always pick necro since it takes the town out of the gaming equation apart from gold and guild.
4.
There seems to be a problem with tunnels template on a few ppl's machine. One person fixed it by cutting out the block template from rmg. I've no idea why there is a problem cuz i never had one. Anyone who has the problem and finds a solution, plz post it here.

ok here are more important mapmaster informations.
- titan 888 left mapmasters and cause of this he gets replaced by Kuma on dwarven tunnels
- also hexa, who lost the qaulification against titan888, will advance to 1st round.
- for giantwar i just mailed ROK who was the first who missed the deadline if he wants to substitute titan888 on giantwar. if he doesnt ant to we allrdy have a 2nd possible substitute in waiting

@midnite: hmm just a question about third oarty histing randoms : cant the thrid party host just create a random map with the editor for 2 players and then just - like on set maps - edit an tower with grail in it so he can host and watch the game ? just a thought i got no clue if this is possible lol

Yes i believe that is the only way to have a 3rd party host on one of these templates and make it fair.
I will need one for my match with Flamie.
FYI, i have no way of contacting Flamingo, since he is still not showing up on the H3 player search. So...in short...sign up flamie!

hexa when u are thrid party host u dont get allied with anyone. u get a tower somewhere where noone can reach it and which u cant leave with grail build. this way u c anything. also if u wanna ake the third party host then YOU will have to generate the map with the mapeditor and put in the tower ya lazy bastard

firstly, congrats to kuma getting into DT tourney
theoretically adding tower with grail is the same. need someone to try it and see how it can be done, if i get time i will give it a go. just gotta put the town in middle of mountains or something so doesnt affect how the game plays. wouldnt want a novice screwing up the map by mistake or replacing an existing town. not like fixed map where it is done once and saved, must be done every map generation for every restart, so lots of extra work. It would be cool for the last few rounds of tourney.

One Important Information about fortfeits
i have been asked a couple of times so i think ill answer that question here.
if 2 players wont play teir mapmaster game till the deadline there will only be a double forfeit if none of em really showed efford to get that game played. if you mail r opponent and try to contact him but he doesn't respond or rejects to play then u surely will get a pass.
but i really hope that 90% of the games will be played and there wont be a need for too many forfeits
yesterday i mailed ALL mapmaster players who havent played their games yet. ..but those who doesnt even respond to my mail doesnt have a good chance for a pass...

This all sounds fine and dandy, but since i did not have my first round opponents email till yesterday( due to factors beyond my control and not for a lack of trying)
This shortens my time available to finish our game, very unfairly i may add. How was i supposed to contact my opponent if he was/is not registered. I am registered, my email is located under player search, while my opponents is not. He never contacted me BTW.
Now we are in contact one week after we should of been. Due to our time zone differences i just hope we can finish our game.
BTW you tourney coordinators should have a little more quality control before launching these tournies. That is not meant as a `bad' statement, you are all providing us great fun, but please remember to cover all the issues (like available emails for all opponents).
