Just a question

Hi
I played a game the other day. The other guy thought he was in toh and said his handle was and we played the game. I lost and went to report the game. To my surprise the were no one with that handle, so I he wasn't registered.
Then the next day he says to me that he wasn't registered.
But he was going to and wanted me to report the loss later.
I personally think it's wrong since the opponent wasn't registered when the game took place and after when it was time to report.

Am I right or am I wrong here?

It would depend on the specific situation. If the person thought they were registered then it might be legitimate. I have just recently had a few people that I KNOW were registered that there accounts went MIA. SO, if it was the one person that I know it happened to recently, then it would be legitimate. If you would like you could send an email to raven@toheroes.com and I can help you straighten it out for sure.

I dont know but......

First mistake was made by you: Always look up the handle someone gives you b4 game. This not only allows you to verify they are in TOH but you can see good information such as who they have played and what maps they like.

Second: I personally would not wait and give him a win.  Do you think he would register just to report a loss if you won? (I doubt it) he also lied  to you about being in tournament to get a game.

Sounds like a situation that could have been easily avoided.
