Know When Opponent Finishes Turn

Please correct me if I'm factually wrong on this, but I believe it is possible to tell when your opponent has finished their turn and begun to transmit it without resorting to the "sent" "got" (or variation) that so many players seem to use. I think that when the opponent finishes your turn, then your variables change to your turn. Ie your town no longer has the "tick" showing that is can build, your units' movement crosses change green and your resources are updated.

Am I right, and is this well known already?

according to my friend, this is only true if you are the host.

yup in a two player game you can notice it when you're the host. though with a huge lag it can still take a while before THAT is transferred.

in 3+ games, all people can notice the last player ending his turn.

still good to say sent-got at least the first few turns.

With the ungodly long transfers, I rarely sit in front of screen while my opponent plays his turn, so it is sooo nice to here the " Whip " then I come to screen and see the word " Sent " and I know to sit down and get ready to play.  If I had to sit in front of screen and watch for my resources to update, I would go blind lol.

I personally like the Sent / Got system.

I would rather see the blue vial scroll up the % transfered like in H3 though. At least you would know its on its way and not stuck at say 43% forever lol.

Itd be cool if you could somehow make an event in the map that would notify the next person that it is (or is about to be) his turn
