A strange bug...
While playing a game earlier today the oddest thing happened to me...
Early week 2 ( I think day 2 or 3)
I was running with 3 heroes, and 1 blackie on Adv mode..
I attacked a griffon nest with 23 griffons in it.. And won the battle with all heroes surviving.. or so I thought.
Following that battle, I hit a level tree.. 3 heroes all gained levels for 7500 gold..
Proceeded to a group of Ogre Magi, but whats this.. my army was 1 blackie, and 2 heroes ?!? so I was confused.. I fought out the battle and checked my heroes status afterwards.
My Lv 8 Assasin has 0 health! he could not participate in battle.. but was not dead.. I cast no spells in the previous combat enhancing his life for that combat, and had no artifacts that would give such a bonus.
The only thing I could notice, was that a cancellation spell was cast on him (cancelling his immortality) a few days earlier.. however as we know, that merely cancels the immo for that battle.
SO my question is, has anyone ever seen this before? And if so do you know why it happens? is it a bug? or just something I had missed?

that means, as insatiable put it on another thread, he is not him anymore, not only we are taken over by aliens, our heroes too, when will this end ?!
You can counteract all of this by playing naked and having a faithful horse

Once
I had this happen one time, I believe it was because my hero went to exactly 0 health in the battle, U dont die in the battle it appears until you go below 0 health, but after battle, hero was dead. but did even gain a lvl from fight!!

This hero however was not dead after the fight..
His portrait remained on the army screen, no tombstone, he advanced level at a tree of knowledge, then next fight.. poof, no hero.. Was very odd, and I coulda used those spells he had too :/
oh well guess that explains it though zuds idea. Thanks for the responses..

I got this "bug" twice. The heroes in aventure map was alive with 0 hp, but in after enter in battle he was death.
