Conflux is pretty nice... though i must say overall their speed isnt that great. I think it's great that they put it in 'cause i was wondering what happened to the sprites and phoenixes

In heroes 4 you got to realize that in long games the Stronghold (might/barbarian) castle is ganna have a ton more creatures than you do to the breeding pens.

let me retract my statement about the Conflux, its not my favorite...i was merely trying to defend it. My favorite/the best castle is either rampart/stronghold/dungeon. Although if i were to pick one it would be stronghold. Stronghold can build two buildings to produce two war machines (ballista from the ballista yard and ammo cart from the blacksmith). You also get two shooters instead of many castles with only one (Rampart, Necropolis, Fortress, Inferno) The behemoth's and cyclop's special abilities make it a veery good combo. The cyclops destroys the walls during a siege while the behemoth's slice past the defence. and then you can add to that with the bloodlust of the ogre magi. On top of that Stronghold is second to cheapest in gold usage. All this makes it a very nice place

Necropolis in Homm3 is the best if you can play with it
