dam 1-5 health 5
how much damage he does that amount of health he lose and he goes back on his place, no retalitation.

I think he was counting with the HOMM3 system. There, it would be possible, even though they would suffer a lot of damage.

In HOMM4, the whole stack would indeed be killed by one peasant. Mathematically, it would not be possible, since you are dividing the damage by 0. That would make any damage done infinite.

You cant divide by zero, the computer would have an error and the program would crash without somthing to stop it.

Dividing by zero is not infinite, its undefined(you can't apportion a number 0 times)

Yes, "Shogun: Total war" was a great game.
make at least one unit not from that game, oriental idea is good though, as well as would be the other "human based civilisation" but I think that it is the material for another game, not Heroes.

ive got an idea!!!!! why dont we try to send these crazi ideas 2 3do itself? you never no..... u may see samuris and giant spiders! ( my idea the Arachnuri . lvl5, can twice {once for samuri, another 4 spidey} has attack of 19, defence of 16, and can move 37 unit a day, built by they Spider War Acdemy, and the spider can use a web attack to freeze opponets)

Yes, maybe we should select the "Best of the Altar", organize it and send it to NWC in the hope that someone will look at it.

P.S. From what I understood, it is NWC that develops the game. 3DO only publishes it.

Creature suggestion!


What do you think about this creature?

Werewolf, lvl 2 creature...only in adventuremap dwellings.
HP:30-40 something..

similar to the Cerberi, only stronger

Abilities:

Total berserk; the Werewolf attacks the first creature, friend or foe, that werefolf can see. If you´ve placed it in the back row of your army...tough luck.  
(Teleport would be a good spell against it, since you can teleport them so that they attack their "owner".)

Possesion; an enemy that´s been bitten will eventually turn into a werewolf, with an increasing risk each turn. Maybe starting as low as 5% the first turn, increasing 5% each round? Cure or exorcism can remove the curse.

Silver weaponry do 50% more damage against them.

Thats a good idea, but the total berserk ability is kinda harsh... They'd be better off with normal berserk, like the frenzied gnashers and berserkers IMHO.

This skill idea of mine add's another type of action to the combat screen: Spear (attack).

Skill:

-------------Spear Charging-------------

Increases the heroe's damage in a Spear attack, and:

lvl 2 - just better damage

lvl 3 - not hit back by Spear users

lvl 4 - spin attack (damages all enemys around him)

lvl 5 - double attack

lvl 6 - double spin attack

Full only = Spear Charger

With Archery = Head-Hunter

With Mellee = Captain

With Magic-Resistance - Resister Warrior

With Nobilty - Civil Marshall

With Scouting - Royal Marauder (sounds stupid, ha?)

With Tactics - Legion Lord

With good magic (nature, life, order, sea) - Blessed General

With evil magic (Chaos, death, dark) - Empaler

As for the divsion by zero, it can only be done when taking a limit. The limit of 5/x as x approaches zero is infinity. 5/x when x is zero is undefined. Computers can take limits, but encounter "integer divide by zero" errors if not taking limits.

I have to agree that food consumption is not a good idea. The food resource is not even consumed in RTS games. I think the resources should remain as they are in Heroes. When someone said there is iron already in Heroes, they probably meant ore. The ore in HoMM seems to be more like the stone in the AoE series than it does metal ore. They could quite possibly be divided, I suppose, without messing with the Heroes gameplay too much, but more resources just means more limitation on what you can build. It would probably be best to just leave the resources as they are.

Orb of Darkness
+10 rounds duration to all curses
+15 HP to all evil alligned creatures
+5 mana points every day
-Required to make: Orb of Fire, Orb of Water, Orb of Air, Orb of Earth, Tome of Darkness.

Amulet of Eternal Curses
Renders you units immune to lvl 1-3 curses
Casts Mass Misfortune and Mass Curse at no cost in the begining of each round.
-Required to make: Amulet of Misfortune, Talisman of Curse Immunity, Necklace of Warlords, Amulet of Great Luck.

Chain of the Apocalypse
-Renders your units immune to lvl 1-3 curses.
-Casts Mass Misfortune & Mass Curse in no cost at the begining of each battle.
+15 attack and defense
+5 mana each day
+15 HP to all evil alligned creatures in the army
+15 dmg to all mounted creatures
Enables your hero to upgrade all mounted units into Apocalypse Horsmen - the most powerful creatures in the game

Styq, put Amulet of the Damned:

+10 attack to the hero
+10 defence to the hero
+2 speed to the hero
+20% attack, defence, speed to all units
+ability to cast armageddon without appropriate skill
hero that renders this artefact is immune to magic of evil kinds and gains a 25% increase in a magic like this.

And Amulet of the Cherub:

+10 attack to the hero
+10 defence to the hero
+2 HP to the hero
+20% attack, defence, HP to all units
+ability to cast guardian angel without appropriate skill
hero that renders this artefact is immune to magic of good kinds and gains a 25% increase in a magic like this.

Nice......

Extremely powerful artifacts. I love extremely powerful artifacts.

Potion of Science - This artifact is to be used (and wasted) in the adventure map. When used it will bonus your Intelligence, Sorcery, Wizzardry, Learning, MR, and Scholar skills by one lvl for 1 week.

Potion of Knoledge - When equipped this gives your hero +20 to maximum mana, and +1 mana regeneration each day. It also gives +5 maximum mana to all of your spellcasting creatures.

Tome of Chemistry - When equipped this artifact gives you the Advanced Chemistry skill even if u have no room for anymore skills. That Skill cannot be upgraded and if you already have advanced or higher lvl Chemistry the artifact boost's it by 20%.

Chemistry Potion Set
Required to make: Potion of Science, Potion of Knoledge, and Tome of Chemistry.
-Gives you the Grandmaster Concokting skill even if you have no room for anymore skills. This skill cannot be learned by ordinary means and it enables your hero to create potions over time.
