You are correct Alex_Killer is the original Desert War map maker just was Antal and Flamingo that played it too much that it became like their own son.

I'm pretty sure someone told me it was Antal, but i guess that guy was just wrong 
Alex-Killer, Antal and Flamingo were the 3 Russian homm3 Gods for me, when i played in Saison 2, untouchable and unbeatable (for me  ) , so i guess it was easy to make that mistake.

There a few guys on Gamespy who already downloaded the full version from the net. They say itīs 2.4 GB. But i heard Nival implemented a nice feature for copied versions. After a specific time of play, your hero turns into a pig and dies instantly on day 2.

I have seen a bootleg copy of what Angelito was mentioning but I dont even want to know about it since I only used licensed (store bought) software.
