Hope for new TOH rule
You didn`t quite understand Motor. We didn`t acuse only you man, it is the whole HOS council we were acusing. Nevermind though, the diference between me and Ramses is that i don`t necesarily want to be back in TOH.
Now main thing i want is that you should put a rule like no reporting for more people from same IP cause i explained you how the thing goes:
for example in the city where i study lots of students rent an apartment together and they also get only 1 internet line (cable i mean) so only one IP. Usualy there are 2 to 4 computers or even more that are conected in lan so all i want now for myself is not to be in TOH again but at least to have you propose to the other in the council this rule for TOH, so that more people don`t get the same faith as me  .
C ya and if you want replie if not i don`t realy mind. You all have fun and maybe i`ll c ya in other heroes tournament.

i was stuned when i seen ramses, cross cj,toh_dm and dank in HOS because i played with them with much pleasure and i know them very well.i believe and understand what cross said in this thread because i leave in the same country and i know he tell the truth here where just a few can afford an in internet line because it s very expensive for my poor country.on the other side,i respect HC and their work it s not easy for them and i know they can t reconsider a sentenced to not create a precedent even ,i like to believe,in there hearts some of them ask themselfs if they done an unjustice or not so pls HC put a rule to this things never happens again.toh just loss a few great players for a rule they didn t know it.i m so sorry for u my friends for me and i m sure for the most people who love this game your place it s not among cheaters and mapfixers,u are very good honorable players.sorry for my bad english

Completely agree - dudes, MaH rules page should be upgraded! A couple of lines like "1 IP = 1 player" certainly wouldn't hurt

Why is it that 90% of cheaters have to come here and snow and whine about the fact that they have been booted? Fact is, you broke the rules, now you pay the price. Crying here is not going to make a difference. Get out and see the sun, get yourself a woman and watch some star trek (doesnt have to be in that order though  )

Well, I'm wif Rych on this one also. All cheaters and fakers seem to have a story; I would appreciate the 1st guy who got caught and just appologized; no BS-stories and all, but just saying he is sorry and then bugger off.
I promise when I finally get caught for having multiple accounts I will LOL
Yeah I am Kuma AND Rychen (when I'm drunk and wanna be rude), TheVinz (when I want to do nothing else in the whole entire bloody, freaking game but hitting grifconses), Tim (when I need to sleep during my turns) and Hexa (when I wanna give people easy wins)
But seriously: I also agree that it wouldn't hurt to bring to anyones attention that u have to make sure volunteers understand what's going on if u report from same IP; since that seems to happen often.

Should the honour council be informed first if two players use the same computer to play Toh games thus resulting in more than one report on the same ip motor.
Or should players just simply not do this at all?

This is exactly what i ment : rule about reporting from same IP cause we already know that we can`t make 2 or more accounts from same IP.
Rule should sond like this :ANYONE THAT HAS A BROTHER OR FRIENDS SHOULD NOT ENLIST FOR TOH.

You know my brother was actually going to sign up but we only have one com.
We all know that the worst would be thought so he cant play here & it's all good,I knew i would be joining you Cross if i would of made that decision.
It was only common sense to me & it should be for everyone else.

Well its only in the last week or so because of threads like this that i knew this so i dont know what you mean by common sense.
The point is that anyone not having this information is a potential hoser, and it now makes me wonder if the long list of fake reporters are really cheaters or just dont know the rule because its never been made official.
This is why i disagree that it is wrong to talk about these matters on the board because this thread could stop people ending up in hos unecessarily over this issue.

Acu lets be serious about it. We accepted our panishment. But Some of us can not accept that we could have been right.
We are banned on Toh. What for? - Cause honesty can b for some, stupidity. But let me ask u something - how come if u tipe Diablo in player search u'll find him. Cause if i remember Ramses_sb is banned from toh. Ahh u dont know!? Ramses is Diablo. Fake ip. And Diablo is not perfect cause he has something from old Ramses. But u still didn't detect it.... so Acu, let your brother play, make a good acount cause is a nice game.
About Cross now, cause is his thread, he's not mad cause he really doesnt have enough time for heroes cause he is leaving to Us and in september, when he'll get back he is gonna get married( hapilly like you Zilonite  ).
As for me, when i think on Heroes i remeber this stupid incident so i'll play when i'll get over it.
Just one more thing - guess what Cross promised he'll do for me just to make me fell better - LOOOL - 4 new acounts on toh originally from Us( differents i.p. offcourse). So Motor- detect that.
This leads to A NEW ADD ON TO THE NEW RULE - " YOU MUST RAPORT FROM THE SAME I.P" THERE IS A CATCH ALSO - THOSE WHO HAVE DIAL-UP CAN NO LONGER PLAY CAUSE THEY HAVE RANDOM I.P. EVERY TIME WHEN THEY CONECT... so snow, result is another rule " YOU MUST GET CABLE TO PLAY HEROES" LOL
This is better: those who got caught r just innocent or stupid enough so at least flip a coin before put them in hos and tell them that they were unlucky and u can't detect one from the other so HOS it is. And i garantee u that threads like ours wont apear anymore.

For my end of ToH (homm4 ToH) there is one simple rule; if you are playing friends, hot seat, or from similar computer/IP, just tell me in advance, so I know. Then I will also tell you that you can only play up to 3 games vs them for ToH record.
And the question why is asked, I just use myself as an example, I've played over 50 games hot seat vs. my wife Melissa, and if you look up my record, you will see one game on record for ToH vs her. Since I won 49/50 of these games, I would not be a squire rank but Legionnaire, if I broke my own rules.
It is impossible to tell if two accounts from same or similar source are real or fake, unless I actually come visit them and watch them play, so the best way to solve any potential problem is simply to limit its use or abuse.

LOL now you know Ramses why i`m not mad bout ending my TOH carrier (my wife ). As for you i think you could think bout that too lol (you are old enough) , and leave Vesuvius`s wife out of this lool.
For you Vesuvius i can say: why not post rule that reporting from same IP on main rule page so noone can get confused. Look what happened to me, Ramses, Excalibur and the others. O hell if i knew that rule, then i wouldn`t have called my friends over to my place and play. I could have been cruel and say : O well guys, sorry but you all can`t play here cause i wana stay in TOH, but i didn`t have that option cause i didn`t know.Lol If i wanted to cheet, i could have reported from an internet cafe so another IP. And then what would you acuse me then, THAT MY FRIENDS ONLY PLAY LITTLE TIME AND WHEN THEY PLAY THEN THEY PLAY BETWEEN THEMSELVES lol. What if i had played all my games with Ramses and no other player cause Ramses is my best friend and i like best to play him, then i couldn`t report in toh is this it?
O anyways cya all. It is official i didn`t play heroes for 1 month. Damn never thought that would be possible.... lol

I think there's nothing wrong with playing vs. friends in private. What I don't understand is, why do you have to create ToH accounts for them and report them for ToH?
I mean I played (and won) several Warcraft III games versus my friends. But I don't force them to create Battle Net Accounts and report those games. It was FOR FUN.
So here are the facts as far as I know:
-several reports from same IP
-several reports within a few minutes
-all accounts same password (!)
-always same winners
lol, even if your obscure story was true, how would you notice a difference to a "real" fake reporter?
All this, and you didn't even think about informing one of the volunteers??? If that's true, you deserve being in HoS (S as in Stupidity)
