i am surprised haille. I once opened a thread asking was Frank the greatest and it got zero response after 1 month so i just deleted my post.

I know why people say that Frank would do anything to avoid a loss and things like that. Of course I am biased torwards Frank's behalf as I like him very much and respect him as a player but I agree that sometimes maybe Frank was overly competitive but who amongst us hasn't been from time to time.
I always admired players like Deth8 and Prometheus who you could tell didn't really care if they won or lost. They just played their best with a great attitude and feared noone. Greystole and TEL are like that as well.
I think Frank did a good job walking the line between ultra competitive ToH God and pure fun player. I played with Frank 50 times. About 25 for fun and about 25 for points. I recall once when I had just signed up for a new season and Frank had 1700 pts and I had 1000 and he still asked me if it was for ToH or not. I did not know how many points he had so I said "Sure" and I was very lucky that game and won.
He said "Great Mocara...this with give you a huge point boost as it is my first loss this season.". Upon seeing he had 1700 points I insisted that it not be for ToH but he further insisted that it was.
I know Frank was overly competitive sometimes but it was because he would let his emotions with perceived inequities in the system get the best of him. Or because he was angry with a certain player.
Noone is perfect and I too was angry with him over a few games but as far as pure skill goes in my opinion he was one of the 5 best I ever played against.
Not that that matters at all but I thought I would say it anyhow =)

Ves, I didn`t accuse Mel. Her champions attacked her own crusaders. Funny HOMM2 bug. We had a hard time finding a suitable solution to our misfortune. We decided to avoid the fight on that turn and completed the game anyhow.
