there are several pluses and minuses.
Start zone is random fast terrain always:
+ can use non native hero troops for off-road battles without logistic penalty (week 1 advantage)
+ grass/inferno terrains rich, so share this randomly rather than based on town type
+ enemy cannot guess they have found you by seeing terrain
+ easy to collect any conserves and hives
+ tower has more chance to get mystic gardens and hence gems for titans
- lose +1 speed bonus in start zone, so harder to battle in week 1
- map looks less interesting since less variety of terrains
I need more than speed bonus to convince me to change Mix templates. Most templates u run down road week 1 to break to 2nd town and end up in non-native terrain anyway. I'm still willing to change it if i get a stronger argument, just havent heard one yet

the mix is kinda buggged i get a lot of errors with dwellings, towns, and terraine types. It's a great thing u did so far but it will be great if u can improve it.

terrain/towns not aligned, this is intentional (see earlier discussion on this).
my next mix release will be the last one i do as i dont play H3 anymore except to test templates. I will make 2 versions, one with all fast terrain, another with mostly native terrain.
