When will UbiSoft start on Heroes 5???
I am wondering when UbiSoft will start sharing there plans on Heroes5. Like when they are gonna start or what there long term goals on wanting to get it started and finished etc. Anyone have any thoughts? Also, anyone from Celestial Heavens gonna set up some Interviews soon?

Hopefully they will continue with what was already started.
Seems a pity to waste the objects already created like the the pheonix and necropolis as well as any other items that was developed which we have not seen yet.

Heroes 5 will be not soon they main project is Warlords 4 Heroes of Hibernia i played in Demo version and it is awesome they bring new ideas( no matter if those ideas from other games they successful realised them) what no any game has at the moment,Warlords 4 will be best turn based strategy when it comes out in my opinion, they saved old style of warlords, game remind me a little disciples 2 but in very improved variant so they have part of Disciples 2, Master of Magic, Heroes 3, and Age of Wonders, if you not tryed Demo yet try it out and see yourself, you can find demo on many sites on File Planet for example.

Uhh.. Warlords 4 is awful. You play with one "troop" at a time, and the map's barren landscape is quite boring. The sound is very buggy as well, although that'll probably get patched. Don't ever try to compare the beloved Heroes series with this barrow full of dung again, please.
As for when H5 will be released; how about they re-release H4 with an AI that actually knows how to play first..

i dunno... i havent played warlords 4 demo yet but the combat actually looks pretty interesting... the one creature at a time combat system presents a lot of strategies to the player... do you put your kickass high level troop in there at the start of the battle? if you do, the opponent might throw a bunch of snowty troops at the high level troop and kill it, in which case your opponent wouldve only lost some snow troops while you lost a great unit. or do you put low level troops in first, and they might just all get massacred without being effective. there's a lot of strategy there. not to mention i think there are spells/potions/etc. to cast so that adds more to it also.
and re-release h4? that would just delay h5 even more, no thanks. not to mention MP is (or should be) the main thing.

About Warlords: Fair enough, it's a matter of opinions.
About Heroes: If it means that H5 will have a decent AI, I welcome as much delay as is necessary. If MP should be the main thing, recall the amount of time H4 players had to wait to get MP; a little delay (and a later release date) was definitely in order there. I would rather play an incredible H5 in 2005, then purchase another Beta version in 2004.
Anyhow I don't agree that MP should be the main focus, a game should be ready out of the box for people that don't neccesarily have an internet connection, a hotseat friend, or a LAN network. Computers have long been toys of the introverted; let's make sure the computer running the game knows how to give players a good challenge (without the need for other players).
It is in Ubisoft's best interest to make sure H4 is a game that functions well for solo and multi players alike. Consumers are much less likely to purchase something when it's predecessor was broken, the same way people are less likely to watch a movie whose prequel was bad.

You probably havent played in Warlords series, what does mean you play with one "troop" at time? If you talking about you choose in combat unit wich you want to fight then this feature is very good in old warlords series troops was fighting automaticly and now you can choose yourself wich is good tactic to save those troops you want and also choose troops by ability vs enemy ability.
Landscape is not the best thing in warlords if you will be not lasy and try to think and understand warlords you will find great gameplay.

I think mp+gameplay should be the main focus because mostly everyone who playing in gameshaveconnection to the internet and best,fun games are in mp vs intellegent opponent.
And yes i think Ubisoft have very good chanse to make heroes
5 awesome at least i prefer Ubisoft more then Microsoft.

I think Ubi should know that. This way, they will be very very pleased with the investment made.
And hopefully ,I don't work at Microsoft by this time, a lot of dismissals to come, if they'll read this thread.

SEE As RTS i love Warlords Battlecry 2. that is from the warlords series, but when it comes to FPS, heroes of might and magic 3 (not 4, 3!!) is far better than warlords, and warlords 4 wasn't better.. is more a role game than a strategy one.

i have demo the 141 mega bite one the fighting and guys is cool but level i will have a level 6 knight to a level one guy and he will kick the knights ass some times so the battles seem like its just a roll of dice who ever gets higher wins ( chance ) . but for the rest of the game is good
