...No Rampart, Academy or Dungeon towns? Might & Magic blasphemy, I tell you.
The lack of fan-service is a bit disheartening.
I know many of you will likely jump down my throat and say I'm ungrateful for what Ubisoft has given us. But the question is... what exactly have they given us? Sure, one guy gets to play the game early, and a bunch of fans got to play it a while back.
Yes, Ubisoft has made many claims about how they listen to the fans (and even hired one) and keep close contact with fans, but I have yet to find evidence of this. Even as a fan of the series since the release of the first game, all I've had from Ubisoft is Heroes V, which... is Heroes III with 3D graphics and some other changes. Big deal.
If you want to impress the hardcore fans, try top stop changing so many things in the game and making it like Warcraft or something.

Why?
And the only things I 'm not impressed with is the lack of resources, the "possible lack" of town buildings and that there are only 5 faction.
But the latter one I really understand the reason for. So this far I really happy with the work they have done, and Heroes 5 was in many ways better then Heroes 3 (but also worse in other aspects ofc...)

TBQH I don't really care that they've been revealed in a "horrible leaky way", only that they were revealed to others and I can no longer see them. I can't even come to this forum anymore because I have absolutely no idea what any of the posts are referring to.

It's too hard coming up with more factions, and keep them different from each other in terms of gameplay: needing different management, different tactics in combat, having different racial abilities, different creature skills, different might and magic heroes for each and different skill trees for each of them. So I kinda understand the only "5 factions" part. Besides, I'm sure that with expansions, more factions will come.
E-Lysander, I am a "hardcore fan", and I am impressed and nothing in Heroes VI reminds me of Warcraft. When you speak, speak for yourself.

As the 5th faction has been leaked, and thus confirmed to be Naga, I consider this thread to be extinct and close it.
