This math lesson drove me into depression. People make million dollars just by creating bugs. I start to think that I got wrong graduation.

Is it? I mean you'd have to pay employees and pay for resources for development, then take the rest of the cash in your hands. Otherwise, devs may as well go to court to blame the publishers for not paying the job, regardless how bad the product is. And it also means to avoid such publishers like worst kind of bubonic plague a man could ever have.
On a more tactical side, does this mean Ubi's shareholdings now have a lesser value on stock market? If this can be considered as a low income, would this mean Vivendi gets an opportunity to buy more at a lower price?

You know my opinion, don't you?
H7 is a great game after the patch 2.0 and will be even improved. But it is Ubisoft who burried it and condemned it to become a failure, through their development of releasing games in a terrible state. I bet if H7 was released now, after 2.0 patch, it would sell several times more copies. No idea who does these xxx decisions in Ubisoft but in the end, BOTH fans and Ubi are dissatissfied.

Several? This is an overstament, the game is still slow and battles no less boring. But it has had a number of improvements.

I believe I'm right about it. You can criticise and dislike any aspect of this game but from I have seen so far, most of people refused to buy this game due to technical problems like crashing, bugs & AI. H7's status after 2.0 is now similar to the status of most of the other games which have just been released and whose support is planned to continue for some time. Pity H7 is out for nearly one year.

Meh, battles are a little more fun for me. Less waiting for animations like the wait command. With the new skill system I think the mid and late game is better with the random skills. I've got a barbarian almost at GM light magic and leadership with a bunch of might skills at master. It gives me more a drive to play and things to do. Like tryin to find ways to get mana for my "spell casting barbarians"

Do you know many games that take 2-3 mins till main menu and another 5 to load a save? And I'm being generous here, there are more delays.

I'm just not experiencing that but it would definitely stop me from playing, that's some crazy wait times. It takes about 2 mins for me to start it up and load my game.

When I first started playing HoMM5 I had a wreck of a computer (a P4 CPU, about 2 GB RAM(?) and some low end, dedicated graphics card). I can clearly remember the waiting and the loading times being very long, plus serious lagging and the long AI turns.
Despite all of these, I was hooked because it was HEROES, it was so interesting, it was alive and I could hardly wait for my next turn (I'm talking about H5 before ToE).
So, the question is: is it worth now waiting for so long? Is it alive?
I guess you gave me your answer above and so did Elvin and so did Momo - three people from which I didn't see an ounce of BS so far ... Sad.

I was in that same boat when h5 came out. My computer couldn't handle it but i did everything I could to play that game. Sat through more loading than actually playing lol. Because it was the next heroes installment!!
The difference however is when h5 came out, I had no doubts about the heroes series. I figured it must be great because every other heroes game is! I was more than willing to sit through whatever it took just to get a taste of the new heroes game. That's no longer the case. I didn't love h5 and I didn't even like h6. There's nothing that really stands out in h7. If you want a lesser heroes experience with good visuals then you'll probably like it but id wait for a price drop before buying the expansion.

Unless this was the last expansion, things don’t look that bad. Even here on HC it’s admitted that the expansion and the patches brought advancements. Same I can read on other forums. H5’s dwarf expansion didn’t bring too much advancement, ToTE was the significant breakthrough. So far the two games evolve in similar manner. But yes, if the development will end now, that will be a failure.

H7 is soulless, cheap, underdeveloped and overpriced. No expansion can change that. I have really tried to play and appreciate this game but the sloppy craftsmanship just makes it impossible. Even the sound of the menus annoys me, not to mention some animations. I cringe every time a kappa jumps over the battlefield or when the efreet dies. This isn´t 1997. Again, the game has no soul and it´s painful.
At least sales bombed. That usually sends the message across that they are making crap.

Come on nobody denies it's underdeveloped, or buggy or messy. Different people have different views, playstyles, demands,experiences on gaming etc.
I enjoy the game up to an extent but I do believe it's not a good game. Why is that so hard to believe?

we can be sure, this is the last expansion, unless Trial By Erwin somehow sells five million copies ASAP, (it won't),
Limbic were already contracted for the dwarven expansion before H7 release (that's why it wasn't just cancelled after H7 bomb lol), but with Vivendi takeover in wings, you just can't waste any more money trying to salvage **** lol
if you noticed, Marzhin already leave and limbic are not even sure how much time they have left to patch lol

So, you are talking about the dwarf expansion? Because from the point of view of what I’m saying it is irrelevant how bad is the vanilla version or the beta.

They aren't much different other than some small additions here and there. If anything I consider the addon slower.

Well if we can be sure, then this is the end of the story. I personally won’t even buy a Heroes game with just 7 factions. With 8, maybe…, don’t know… But 9 for sure I will!
