The heroes are not the same as in the previous campaigns. At the beginning of this new one, a random level 18 (if I remember corectlly) hero is created. I mean a random Gelu, or a random Crag, you know. If you would restart the map several times, you will see that you don't get the same hero twice. (The skills I mean). In SOD it is impossible to carry over a hero from a campaign to another.
