Spires artwork
You guys remember the Spires castle Myste and I dreamt up? Well I wanted to have a little fun, so I made some drawings of what I thought the creatures should look like. I then decided to render them in 3d like 3do and then I pasted them in a picture.
I thought it looked really cool... there is a pack of Nimbus, a sort of wind/frost sprite, and a Valkyrie, a high level unit that is an armored woman armed with a spear on a white horse. Check it out here:

They're both a little fuzzy from the scaling down of the pictures, but I was happy the way the Nimbus turned out... see if you can spot anything I missed and what I can improve on! (Shadow, sharpness, number placard etc.)

The wind fairy or something looks marvelous.
Altought I always tought that the valkyrie would look cooler on a white winged golden antler wearing stag... And valkyries always have those funny helmeds with wings on it.. But that details would be to difficult I guess.
You just gave me a marvelous Idea! 
People who are curious to the chimera and succubus in homm3.. be prepaired!

Thank you for your comments. I created the picture by first rendering them in my brother's version of Poser (with custom skins and poses) on a blue background. I then cut them out and pasted them on the picture, clearing up some of the blue stuff around the edges, and drew a semi-transparent shadow and pasted in a number placard.
I am going to try some of the other creatures I dreamed up next, including a banshee and a dryad.

Now that's what I call fleshing out an expansion idea!
Darion has certainly gone the extra step here to show how the new creatures would fit in a Heroes setting. Very unique job. Thanks, and keep up the good work.
::grins::now for a challenge. Think you can get them pasted in to a Heroes 4 screenshot?

The images have a certain HoMM4 feeling. I am really glad to see it finally working. I wish I could do this too but heh, only few chosen people are able to. Good job.
