Random Strageties/Tips.

I Have found many of these WOrk in H3, try them out.

For all Towns/Castles: Always head right for capitals First. Screw all other buildings execpt those needed to get the capital, i have seen others go straight for the baddies like the Dread Knight, but when they get it. they dont have enuf money to buy it.

Rampart: After heading for capital, your first Good unit is the Grand Elf. Shooting twice per Turn, and Great against Pesky 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Lv units.

Inferno: Go For Horned Demons ASAP.

Necropolis: Dread Knights.

Try Saving up before Getting the final Structure (FOrsaken Palace, Behometh Lair) Until you can Guarentee that once you buy it, you will have enough to do other stuff left.

Build Structures on  the First, Second, Third, Fourth and fifth Day of the week. Save up your money For the Next weeks creatures......Once you get the final Structure, Only build on the first, second, third and fourth.

Usually get a Max of Heroes Units on  a Small or Medium Map, 3 on a Large map, and up to 5 on a XL Map.

Take turns using your castles New creatures to your heroes.

Ex.

You have 3 heroes.

Gem
Crag Hack
Sandro

Gem Goes in for the first weeks new creatures, then goes back out.

On Week Two, Crag Hack Goes in for the weeks creatures.

and on week three, Sandro Goes in For the weeks creatures
Repeat this Often

i use all of these strageties, and they help!

loooooooooooool

WARNING: dont listen to that lol, you will loose every game...coz im a nice guy i will tell the right strategies...

1. do NEVER go capitol first week...try at least to get a good unit going, maybe combined with citadel/castle...as example for castle you got the options to go for monks or cavaliers (needs stables, but if you got stables outside of town you get a free upgrade to champions, and they kick ass.
An option on higher difficulties is building the town hall and market place, rest always must go to creatures, never city hall week1.

best example is his rampart, you want unicorns week1 if any possible, but the minimum is elves and dendros to protect em

inferno: horned demons? what a toss, you go for efreet, thats the crucial inferno unit...2 of em soon and you can do a lot often week1.

if you got the option to build L7 always do that, even if your totally broke...only of of them can do stuff usually you couldnt do without it

3 heroes on a large map? noob...needs no more comment

you have those 3 heroes? hack is your main, all else is bad tossing...

Kraven if you give out tips you should know something about that game you know?

Whatever, you both are stupid really. Going creature or capitol in the first week makes no difference so just go with what you think is best for that castle. By Week two you should have it all anyway and if your going to lose its not because you didn't have one week less creatures, its beacause you suck and have no tactics, or dont know how to use your spells right.

Dear moron's is right, but rude in his aproach.
I *usualy go for capitol asap. After buying creatures and there dwelling's, you have to save up for the capitol. Whereas getting capitol first, you dont have to save up money.

You may think it does, but really in the long run it doesnt matter which path you take. And if you can get beat on week 2 or 3 then you shouldn't be playing Multi. Not to mention if you did you would only be down HALF the number of ceatures gained by a castle when everything is built.

ok im trying again to get that capitol building outta your heads...heres why its bad:
(sigh, im a too good guy to leave you to your bad playing )

they dude that makes it to lets say any L6 week1 and has them on his main will clear the area for gold and heroes stats and experience building...so he doesnt have less gold than the money builder, no he even has more, think about crypths for example...
his hero grows, and week2 there arrive more creatures from town that you pay with the stuff you got outta fighting the area...if you are lucky now and get stuff like dwarven treasuries you make it to Level7 in your town, and week3 got a strong hero with a good army going....
now you compare that to the money builder than cant fight nada coz her has no creatures, but paid about 10k till city hall and 10k for capitol just to get 4k each next day...

question of the day: who has the stronger hero with army and the better situation?

Unless you know exactly where your opponents are, or if your within 3 days of them why does it matter? Your like one of those idiots who always asks "whats the best creature?" "whats the best town?". Its all trivial because unless your playing the map 'manifest destiny' it wont matter if you do capitol or creature the first week because having one more damn non-upgraded Ogre isnt going to do *anything* that spectacular.

Week one spleek none.. Barf.
In week 2, when your getting 2 grand a day, you wont beable to buy more creatures or a capitol.
Somewhere you have a to make a sacrifice.
It's either spend a couple of day's investing, or blowin everything on power.

Actually, in the depthness of it, dear moron is right all the way. Sometime's, on some map's you'll need more power just to get the first stack of wood you see.
Sometime's there's a few peasant's gaurding a woodmine (That's usuualy the case)

If you need power, get it
If you can aford an investment (which any good player can decifer a little path until powers available) invest

Errggggg I wish I could make a thread.. I wanna know this bad.
Alright here!
Money or creature dwelling's/creatures
I wanna know the inside's and out. Which is the best path from the beggining.
What are the factors determining outcome's?
WOuld this work better this or that way, what if that happen's? What if it's this way?!!! ERGGGGG
I want to calculate this soooo ****ing bad!
I know there's a way to know without having to make a logical guess.

(What dose it matter you say)??!!

I SAY THIS!
Runner's run, and run and run to keep there time up. If they can go up one micro second per HOUR! They will try.
I give my liesure to expertice in video games. Id dicect mario brother's if I wanted to get better.

SO! please help me disect this
Like I said, which is the best path? Capitol, or dwelling's? WHat are the decisive factor's?

LOOOOOOOOOOL

Ya thats good advice indeed, lets all build capitol day1 week2 and then have main fight(s) month 4 or something...

As for TOH maps:

always go for lvl 7 creature first week, no matter which town you are. The resources will be there (and if not u usually have trading posts anyway).

Number of heroes should be between 6-8, learn how to chain units for best results. Speed is almost everything in this game no matter what some of the people are saying in this thread lol. You get capitol beginning of week2 and you are dead week3 on a closed TOH map...maybe even first week on an open map. On a TOH map you visit all boosting locations and collect up the arts as soon as you can. Then attack if open map, if sucky arts and stuff visit the most important locations and then rush attack. On closed maps clear your side and then break (Kill the big stack guarding way out) if you think you have enough army for it. When you break is really important on a set map since there usually are lots of precious stuff in the middle so if opponent gets there and clears it before you arrive you are most likely to be on the dying side when the main battles come...

On random maps:

Build is very depending, sometimes you dont even need a decent build to win a game, units from banks can be enough (the well known shak attack ).

Myself i have played rampart alot lately and with them i always go for unicorns+castle first week and you also have enough time for another building first week. Which usually is upg. elves to grands day2 to me. Second week i start off by getting town hall or mage guild or upg cents depending on what the situation needs in my opinion. If main hero is long away waiting for a chain with troops maybe a mage guild wouldnt be the best option then i would problably go for upg. cents if i have lots of cash or town hall if im low on it. Then if map isnt a rich one i try and go for city hall at middle of week and then drags day7. The problem with getting drags are usually crystal (you need 34 for drags i think, 7 from start 130% diff and 3-6 from starting bonus usually means you need to collect about 21-24 of em...), so a key to being fast with rampart is to fight for all the crystal you can and killing off some nice dorw tres since they can give alot of crystal.

Off course this isnt the case every time either, once i won a rampart vs rampart game day7 week2 because i rushed him while he was saving up to get those drags (which he got day7 btw hehe but one drag was np to kill...).

This is just an example how atleast i usually play rampart, for more ideas how to use towns you should check the "disecting the...." threads.

At random maps view air/earth are vital, at expert lvl they can be game winners since you know where your opponent is.

Number of heroes are very depending on a random map since you most likely cant afford to have all 8 of em first week. That means you have to use the ones you can afford very wisely. Myself i prefer 4-5 heroes first week unless a really rich template like "ring" or something.

Speed on randoms are also important as you might have understood but not as important as on set maps since they usually are equally balanced. Which means you can come up with counter attacks even if your opp seems to get along much faster than you. But if you are slow as opp takes banks/boxes/great arts way ahead of you then you most likely are going to die. Knowing when to take these things are really really important because rushing a full tope week 2 usually aint the best thing to do either.

I hope this have made you realise alittle more what this game is about kraven/other guy. To me its strange why you dont listen to andi though now when he like myself actually give the time to help for once
