Ehm... Father Sky? i think those guys need a flying unit, and our old wyvern fits this role.
and as i seen in DoC, they are much badass(bigger and such) than before, they can be champions.
see the humanoids? its a bit hard to notice them.

While I feel the Wyvern should be Champion, I also feel Behemoths should be, and Cyclopes undeniably so, so I won't be angry either way. From DoC, I know there is that Shi no Shi wyvern, but he seems like a totally unique one. Still, Wyverns can be very powerful. However, they are supposed to be weaker than Dragons, so unless they are population based or tricky strategic champions, Elites they should remain.
Also, in Dungeon for H6, what was that catapult? Was it a Wyvern? 'Cause it looked like one...

I don't think that we can see them, as they were Orcs from Ranaar, while these are Desert(Sahaar) Orcs.
Hmm, I think h6 Orcs where based on Jungle/Mayan - Pao Islands hence the creatures
h5 where based on Steppes/Mongols - Ranaar
and h7 are desert
Makes sense.
AS for goes for line up. Hell yea i really miss Behemots, but i really loved their h3 look, feroucious and evil looking with huge claws and teeth, amazing base model, imagine in HD/3D model based on h3? Awesome ! TBH Dread Knights and Anchient Behemots where my favourite creatures out of all h3... ;D

WHat makes that a dragon instead of a wyvern? I usually see two legs = wyvern, 4 legs = dragon. I only see two legs here?

good point..
however the face looks more like a dragon
maybe its a young drake that didnt develop the limbs yet

According to Erwan there is a wyvern for every element. My bet is on dark wyvern.

Since Ubi wants Sylvan to get Strike and Return this time, I'm now sure Harpy will be out and we will get either Wyvern or Thunderbird as flyers. But will they actually reveal Stronghold units this year?

Why would you think that? In H6 we have many Strike and Return units.
We have Darkness and Light elementals as neutrals, we have Glories in Haven, Harpies in Stronghold and Faceless in Dungeon.
Sylvan having Strike and Return unit as Elite doesn't have anything to do with Stronghold having one as Core. In Duel of Champions we have desert harpies as well, where I didn't see desert Orcs with Wyverns or something(which doesn't mean that it won't happen).
They could replace the Harpy, sure, but it definitely won't be because of Sylvan having Strike and Return unit.

IIRC Erwan (or someone else from Ubi) already said, that in H6 Dungeon we have Earth Wyvern.
I don't remember if he spoke about siege "dragon" or Dark Elf mount.

First one looks good, second one would be good with just bonus armor/weapon and something else. No need to turn it into Undead version of a Gnoll.

OK, I found it at last.
Dark Elves use poison-splitting Cave Wyverns as siege engines. At least according to MMX.
