Right of opinion
It's very kind of u Zud for such a short response. And it's very thoughtfull of u to close my post. But doing like this just u cut unnamed squire's right to defend himself. Anyway it was just a warning for the other players and I think everybody has to know what happened so they can take security measures against some players : save the game every turn, taking screen shots from the game and so on.

You dont understand
This is not a discussion for this board, It is an HC issue and you need to email the honour council to work it out. you dont even know if your opponent frequents the heroes community to "defend" himself.
This is not the place for such discussions!!!
Please email the honour council with this type of problem, do not air it here in the heroes community.

A couple of thoughts
Running Squires
I'm new at toh but it seems I've already found a problem : running and not reporting squires. I've played with (unnamed squire) and he quit his game and told me that he give up (he lost all his troops attacking T-Birds on Heart of the Winter) and after that he never answer my messages and never report to TOH. It's a custom here i've seen cause i've talked to someone else, Sudden Death is his name, and he told me that it happens the same with another squire named (unnamed squire) and after he beats unnamed squire after 10 hours of playing. unnamed squire just vanished and never reported. By the way unnamed squire now has 10-0. Well it's nice to report only your win right ?
So everybody take security measures when playing against : anyone.
Zud is absolutely right.
One thing that never ceases to amaze me is the number of people who don't have the slightest idea of how to handle a dispute when one arises in a game.
I used to think that it was simply a case of new players registering for ToH and then never reading another word on the site other than the Report Win/Loss page or the Rankings pages. Over time I've found that many Vets of seasons past are in the dark on this subject as well.
Players who have never familiarized themselves with the rest of the ToH site should take the time to sit down and read through the more important pages--most notably, the General Tournament Rules and Information page, the New Player Information page, the Honor Council Pages, and the Disputes page (linked below).
I think it would be hard to participate in any type of organized tournament without having at least a basic understanding of the rules.
A quick visit to this page on the ToH site would have precluded the urge for this disgruntled player to bring his grievance to the message board.
In a case like this, you should email your opponent and ask him to report his loss, as is outlined in the Disputes page. If he fails to respond or simply refuses to report, the next step is to forward those emails to the Honor Council with an explanation of the situation and we would handle the dispute/complaint from there.
Bringing problems like this to the Message Board, which is an extension of the Tournament and technically subject to its rules (although we try not to be the Speech Police), causes much more harm than good.
Feelings get hurt. People get angry. People who have no interest in the dispute become involved and often give information that is entirely inaccurate, and arguments and flamefests ensue.
None of these are what the board was set up for.
None of them bring the situation any closer to a resolution.
This is not the place for it.

Nothing much left to say here that hasn't been said. However, it is a dishonorable thing to list a complaint against someone here when following ToH guidelines (especially the one's agreed to abide by when you register - please read how to resolve a dispute if one is occurring) takes care of the matter easily. It accomplishes nothing more then create strife amongst players and fester discontent and further misunderstandings on how to get a dispute resolved.
Thanks for editing quickly Zud.
p.s. I removed the other thread which seemed to originally include some players name.

Actually Val to answer your question i know from exp that Zud rides naked with the horse which is also naked & remain so.
They both share the moderating duties for they are 1.
Play Zud & flirt with him so he can get distracted .
Or just make sure he is not playing in only his socks

I would like to add the following. It is a a common reality for many ToH players to have to save their games and resume some other day.
What I have noticed, speaking for myself, is that every time that I seem to be winning a game, or if you prefer, in the lead and that the game must be saved, its funny to see that I am the one who must attempt to contacts my opponents. I do not particularily like to do so because it requires time & energy which I would rather use for some other activities.
I did read the Honor Council's policies on disputes. I do email the opponent at least 2 times within 3 days. However, these opponents of mine keep saying: "Sure, we will finish the game on this date, this time." For some reason however, they never show up, and it's all back at the cat & mouse with the e-mailing back & forth.
My question is: Are there any unwritten rules about unfinished games? I propose that once the 2 people have committed to a date to finish the game, whoever doesnt show up on the given date must lose the game.
I have too many unfinished games where I believe that I am in a very favorable position to win.

im starting to get scared
Oh NO! i was playing a squire with a perfect record yesterday, won the final fight and he left! we did set a date, but if it's the same guy....
btw, he still had a small chance to win, so giving up wasn't an option.
could someone PM me the name of that squire(s)?

honor council- and me
Honor council is the best way to deal with unfinished saves, and if they dont show up in the end, you will probably get credit and opponent penalized in some form.
Also, in simpler cases, eg. vs. a newbie with 1-0 record or something, if saves are shown, usually a decision is made even quicker.
In cases dealing with a squire or higher rank, it also can be brought to my attention, since I can also let the player know if I have heard of prior problems with that player, and at least keep in my mind of their history. I would not make any decisions or rulings, but gives me an open ear to the situation.
Honor medals will be passed out to a few players monthly starting in february, and they hold for only the most respected and honorable players in Homm4 toh. So its important to know if anyone is 'skirting' saves.
but remember -- every decision will have a conclusion with honor council. So either the player will have to finish save, or be given credit/penalty
Make use of the disputes & HC system, it will keep those who try to escape losses from profiting.

what will those medals be based on ? cause i don't see any use in them since nobody cares about the honor level now and they will certainly not care about your medals (true, some of us care, and we know who we are, but we are too few, and as an example ... the 1 month debate in the honour council about my clan war game, with someone (doesn't matter who) who has received complaints before has an average honor and HAS CHEATED ... that is obvious, and not a very smart cheater i might add ->putting a campaign-only artifact on the map ... sheeesshhh
so my point is that honor-meter and those will-be medals should mean something, i mean they're not only supposed to be there!!!!

Careful
If the Naked Horseman you're referring to is Zud then I just wanna say that IMveryqualifiedO he is the most honorable person to ever play in the tournament.
He's the first MVP holder. That should speak volumes in itself about his character.
No honor bashing here, ok?

honor medals
are not based on the automated honor rating. They are decided out from the entire active ToH staff, including myself.
its based on your conduct with other members, a clean history, and at least 15 games on record. When you have an honor medal to your name, like the MVP award, it means anyone playing you should trust you 100%. So the arent given out easily, and we wont see more than 2-3 handed out a month.
