This is not what I wanted
I was hoping for a bit more credit from some people here when I just wanted the opinion of some veteran rdm-players on having a restart wif a higher lvl-hero.
First of all: Xar, I told u not to call me a pointhugger or something childish like that and u react by calling me that in every comment; it's like talking to my 5-year-old nephew, he would do that. "Don't say &*^%" And he would go: "&*^% &*^% nah nah nah nah &*^% &*^%!!!"
I dunno what I have done to u to deserve this childish treatment; didn't we act like grown-ups to eachother before this?
Motor: I have told u once and I'll tell u again: I support the HC and any other member of TOH-staff 100%, so it wasn't an attack on HC AT ALL. When all the crap went on between some people and Ves over HC, that led to the closing of TOH I was absolutely pissed at the guys who bashed the HC.
So I'm sorry that mentioning names and HC in my topic gave u that impression; that was not how I intented it
Having a stable or more utops, for me is the charm of rdm; starting a higher level hero to me is a bug and i wanted to know if people agreed wif me on that. THAT IS ALL.
Andi: glad to have made it to ur bash-list finally; I was getting worried.
I never had to deal wif all this bullshyte when I was just a simple 1600-pointer and the rest of the guys that were better than I am pushed me to 20th place or so, where I belong.
But ever since I made 1st place I've been called a cheater, a pointhugger, a coward for not playing TOH-maps and more crap like that.
I can understand that for some of u people there is nothing more in ur life than this game, but why don't u just leave me alone and let me play my games?
Report when u loose and don't use a bug or a trainer.
Or simply: play with honor, that is THE reason Why I'm in TOH anyway.
I've lost my share of 40 points-a-game because my woodmill was a 3-week-travel away; I dun care about that, but never will I allow a bug to mess up a game.
And Hexa c.s. Close this also if u really need to, but I'm not bashing anyone, not having critic on any TOH-staffmember; heck... I'm not even arguing (see signature hehehe)
I just want a chance to say something back to the things in the other topic.
Hmmm maybe that IS arguing, lol
Ah well, I will never be good at this internet-stuff anyway; IRL these situations don't happen to me :-P
PS Bjorn: plz write a comment on this which has the word 'Pointhugger' in it. I'm counting on u :-)

I think itīs ok and also right to post HC matters in public, but that view is not shared by the HC.
When I get a level 5/10/20 hero I usually tell my opp and ask if he wants a restart. One time I didnīt do that, cause I played a person who was a rules abuser and he also chose conlux, so I decided to go all out on him, I had a level 5 ciele hahaa!

BTW Bjorn, imo ur point is a bit too strong and I do not agree wif that.
HC ain't no divine rulers, we all should bow to twice a day; but I can understand they get a bit tired of having to defenmd their rulings on Comm all the time.
And most important, that was not what I wanted anyway.
I always agree wif HC and I reported my win and loss (which costed me 12 points or so, which serves me just right; being the cowardly pointhugger that i am), so to me the HC-ruling was fine.
But I don't agree wif it NOT being a standard reason to restart; that's all I wanted to say. And most rdm-players seem to agree and some didn't.

I agree on lvl5 hero is restart on random and opponent always has to tell he does, its standard KoR rule (for people who know KoR) and if opponent tells fairly he has lvl5 hero I would most likely give him a free ticket to use his hero, lvl5 mostly gives sucks 2nd skills anyway.
Also cant see why u cant discuss it in here, it was just a question of kuma asking if people agree what he thinks.
Too bad HC feels attacked, I dont think that was his intention, and also cant understand HC wont agree on lvl5 hero is restart since its a standard KoR rule.
Also can understand xarfax a little, he prolly just wanted to forget about the game and go on, but this case got in community so discussion started again while he already forgot about it. I like both xarfax and kuma, and hope u will stop calling eachother names, leave that snow over to me and Andi.
Kuma is also right about the nr1 spot, when u are there somehow everybody has an opinion and say u must cheat or u cant win so much, or that u only play bad players, or that u only can win randoms cause its more luck. All nonsense!!! There are also many players that never talk to u and suddenly when u are nr1 ask u to play and be nice, so my goal is the nr1 spot so maybe my big idol Andi wants to talk to me )

Well, there are basically no standard reasons to restart when you play toh games. There are some things that many people think are fair, but itīs impossible to assume what someone else thinks is fair or not, so itīs important to talk about it before the game.
These things are cause for a restart as far as I think.
1. No wood/ore mine week 1 cause its.
a) too hard to get because of map
b) not the players own fault
2. Blocked in a game-limiting way because
a) an unusually hard stack is blocking the way
b) it is not the players own fault.
c) OR there is no road = landlock
3. Starting with a Hero>level 1 or a fully built town
4. My opp really wants one.
a) and itīs not cause he wants a better position.
I think thats all of them.. not sure.
BUT there is no "forcing rule" to make ppl accept any of these restarts. You canīt expect anyone to know about these things that most veterans hold true, because itīs really just opinions, and if you have that opinion, its your own responsibility to make sure your opponent knows that.
BUT I do agree with these restart reasons.

Thats all. Some of your friends got all mixed up with that..funny thing was that i didnt wanted u to report a loss but u insisted to decided it by HC. So (again) YOU posted to HC about the whole matter, and asked for a decision (and again it was not ME). They answered YOU and their decision was not in they way U wanted it....lol... and still i did not wanted U to report it. Man u r silly. So can u simply stop trying flame me on this board here?

I gave and i still give anyone a restart for any reason...even if there is none..he felt unconfortable about his starting situation, town.. No problem lets make restart..cause for its NO USE TO FORCE SOMEONE INTO 3 TO MORE HOURS GAME in which he feels unconfortable.
But..
If someone dont give me a restart or a reload in a game or games before, he cant expect of me any of this in further games.

Kuma im really sorry that things went this way..im thinking about my role in this and u might think about it too if everything uve done was ok.
For me the case is closed. I wont even react on even the heaviest accusation that will accure from the peeps that simply dont know better.

I was playing Lone Chinchilla. AB expansion had just come out with random map generator. We fired up a medium random. We played. He walked into my castle on week1 day4.
I reported my loss.

Hi Kuma,
Maybe it is best to edit your top post to one simple line saying your question then. It will avoid all this ill feelings that seemed to go around hopefully. I think everything is past now though anyhow.

But at one point i think kuma is right, from what ive seen/heard so as soon as someone reaches first spot there is lot of BS about that person...just regular human jealousy i guess
