GIF images do not work with the {swf} tags. If you want to display a .gif picture, you must use {img} tags. Perhaps that wasn't clear from my last post?
If you look at Sir_Stiven's post, he used {swf} code to set a .gif file to be 2000 x 2000 pixels. Hence the large blank spot. It looks suspiciously like a joke to me. However, for those of you who are taking it seriously, that is why we're not seeing anything.
Images -- Codes and examples. The row of *** stands for the image address. Replace all {} with [].
JPEG (whatever.jpg) file:
{img}http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/ss_gallery/49105.jpg{img} OR
{swf width=400 height=339}***{/swf} -- those numbers came from looking at the image pixel dimensions in a graphics program.
======
{swf width=200 height=170}***{/swf} -- both dimension numbers cut in half.
======
{swf width=600 height=510}***{/swf} -- both dimension numbers multiplied by 1.5.
======
{swf width=200 height=339}***{/swf} -- width cut in half, height left the same.
======
{swf width=0 height=0}***{/swf} -- the intriguing code attempted by Celfious.

I would like to really really ask you to be nice to the HC community. It's no big deal, ust try to avoid words like... you know what type. This will really help out mods, who will not be forced to erase your posts over and over again.
Uh, sorry if you got morale minus, but its my common language. My childrenhood passed between bad-reputation kids, so be happy that I am not doing any crime like 6-8 years ago.
I know you can't strech or compress the actuall appearance of the picture. If you try to do it, you just get white spaces. Like the black lines you get when you watch a widescreen DVD.
