Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna
Does anyone own Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna? I only need like six bucks until I can get it from Amazon. I know, its been out for several years, but I kinda missed out.

Hi,
- Well I have both DS and DS-LA. One thing I'd like to know though. On my way to complete the 1 "world" quest, I need to go to Stonebridge ( or something like that ) And all is fine. On my way I have found a second party member in a crypt which ( as to my knowlegde ) can't progress without. So my question is this ; Is the whole game like that, you get different people to join you ?
- I am asking now, before I get too involved in the game, because I really dislike having additional members joining - JUST to keep them alive..... I would like some sort of answer to this 
- Apart from the abovementioned, it really looks cool - Sorta a NwN1 with a D2 touch.

To my knowledge, Sphere, you don't need Ulora to advanced on to Stonebridge. She tells you the way whether you recruit her or not. And,yes, people join you party throughout. Some cost gold, others are free. Build your party how you want. I usually go towards the more magic integrated, and, stunningly, I survive longer with my single character (I use guerilla tactics: strike, move, & strike again). But I eventually need a healer. And a ranged supporter. Just works out that way. I'd suggest getting the free characters to start the game (Ulora, Gyorn, the Dwarf, Merik, Sikra, Boryev, Lord Bolingar, and I think there's one more, but I can't remember who). Also, buying a packmule is a great advantage. When you play LoA, get the mule over the Tragg. The Tragg kills itself too often. I'd also suggest getting it early while they're cheap.

Hi,
- Okay. But is it like if you take on a companion and that one gets killed somehow the game is over for your main too ? <--- That was really my question. Or can you just hire/get companions througout the game and if they get killed ... your main just keeps on playing ?
- Also another question, is it wise to make a wide spread skill selection or should you concentrate on fewer skills ?

If one of your companions dies, you do not lose the game. you can just disband his/her broken corpse, and go about the game in piece. You can just add new party members as well.

I'm playing DS atm. I've now reached the lower Dungeons of Castle Ebh.
My Party members are: Lexxan, lvl 52 Archer (str 22 Dex 38 Int 15)
Ulora, lvl 50 Archer (Str 20 Dex 36 Int 14)
Gyorn, lvl 55 Fighter (Str 39 Dex 20 Int 14)
Zed, lvl 37 Mage (Str 14 Dex 16 Int 36 )
Gloern, lvl 49 Soldier (Str 38 Dex 21 Int 14)
Lorun, lvl 39 Wizard (Str 14 Dex 15 Int 39)
Merik, lvl 35 Mage (Str 14 Dex 15 Int 35 )
Mabel, Pack Donkey 
With this party, your main caracter must either be a Jager (Wizard + Archer), Freelance (All classes), Archer or Wizard.
What kind of main hero would you recommend me for LoA ? (I'll end DS tomorrow)

Hmm...tough question. I'd go with the Archer Wizard. That's a fun combo. Enchant with Orb of Fire and just start raining brimstone down on enemies!
