OK, thanks. I found that box, checked it and custom games now shows me the ones that were missing from view before.
However, is there any real difference between accessing them via custom games menu versus multi-player games menu?

the original question/comment still remains -- is there a way to make it not show me the games I have already played?

The difference is (or was) that in the multi-player version you can't see what the AI is doing in your territory because of the black screen.

no, as far as I know there is not. I try to go down the list alphabetically if I'm trying to keep track.

AhHa. I can't wait to finish the game I am playing to switch to that way of accessing them. The black screen is one of the things I missed a lot. Seeing the motion of the AI is very helpful. All too often, even though I scan looking for an enemy I have missed their appearance for a turn or two. Plus no way of knowing if they passed through my territory and back into the fog of war with the black screen method.

yeah i got the patch but there is a problem: IN C5M5 there is no dark wich used too be and when in battle the area is really bright. it could just blind you.

I noticed this too. It seems they changed something to the lighting effects. The strange thing is that if you play this map under HoF 2.1, it looks as bright as you describe, while under normal 1.5, it looks "normal" dark. I guess they added this change in 1.6 as well, not realising they broke the "Eternal Night" that way.

does this patch make troops travel without any hero?
does this patch make troops travel the map and guard castles without any hero and vice versa? if you know any hack or mods that will allow this please i beg you to show me the links.

When are tehy gonna fix that battle griffin bug when they do that flying attacking,
and if a unit is where they originally were before they did that flying attack, the griffin lands on it?
But you always just move the unit with no effect to either unit..But its still wierd.

You have to restart your mission. Verry frustating, I had the same problem, I restarted the mission and it worked.

Patch Sequence
Actually, it seems I am not the only one with this issue. I just got HOMM5 for Father's Day and need to do patches. I haven't installed yet. Is there something when you insert the disk to "get Updates"? Will doing it this way get me the correct updates in the correct order? I do not wnat to go through all the patches if I don't have to! I am not very computer savvy so the easiest way possible is for me...

I don't know about you guys, but after downloading the patch, I cannot complete Mission 3 of the Inferno campaign. After I complete the scenario, the game just crashes. Everytime. Damn sick of it.
I want to complete the campaigns!
