Oh the dishonour prevails....
I know my subjects and ideas are controversial some times but i want you to know about this! So i am playing with a "guy" in heritage of deleb. At week 3 day 1 (dont remember exactly) the simultaneous turns end. So i am asking him. "are you in the middle already"? and he says " no no, i am way far from the middle, i dont know why turn based started". so i believed him....
3-4 days later he is already in my territory having passed from the middle! so after i understood that he obviously lied, i continued the game and tried to attack him so we could have the final battle. And for first time in my 160 almost games i see that! he took over my town instead of fighting me! I can't understand how some people think! we are 1 day before the new season starts and somebody would prefer to just win in such a stupid and dishonourale way instead of having a nice final battle? Unbelievable for me.
and all this after i agreed with him in choosing his favorite faction, playing his favorite map and letting him be player 1 !
Your opinion and thoughts are welcome although i will not change my opinion on that. i have played 160 games and i never thought of lying in order to deceive an opponent or to take his town instead of having a nice fight.
Just an advice from me. DONT lose your humane side. winning is good but playing fair is better. keep it a game and not something more than it is.

I usually stay away from fights like this, but this is just hilarious. In 3-4 days you can walk through that whole map back and forth. Taking your town is absolutely legal. It's your fault that you didn't defend it. You should have attacked him in your own castle and if you lost, you lost because you deserved to loose. Absolutely nothing dishonorable here.

It's a matter of communication really. If you had told him that you are coming out for him to attack you and he took the town that's crappy, if you said nothing you practically invited him in. But personally I'd have assumed the first since it would make no sense that you'd abandon your town if you did not have that in mind.

Something similar happened during a match between me and Pheonix, only I was the one who saw his town. Now I communicated with him, and he said to go ahead and take the town, but if a town is open I don't know many who would pass it by. Even if you just have it for a day, it gives you some gold and deletes the capital if they have it, making them rebuy it if they want it.

It's part of the game.
Taking someone's town is part of winning.
What am I going to do?
"Oh may I ask permission to win?"
"Oh I just worked hard to get into your land so I was wondering, do I have permission to take your town & win?"
Give me a break lol.
Defend better then 
Taking an oponents town is part of the game & it always has been.
Maybe I should ask permission to fight some knighs also
Maybe we should have a new toh rule.
You lose honourable points for taking any enemy towns.
You can only kill heroes or else

Vangelis you have 160 games played, but thinking like noob  This is modern war, do what you can to your enemy... This is not old times then soldiers marching on battlefield like on parade ... Enemy take your town, take it back or go take his town ... What the problem ?

the problem is that in my 160 games as you said, the one hero was coming out and the other was attacking hm. do you think that i couldnt stay in the town? i got out to battle. if you cant understand the honor of the matter people better close this thread. also whoever else thinks that it is ok to play like a rat, tell me to put it in my list

Honor is not to do disconnects on purpose, to reports games in time, not to insult opponents, to continue doomed games ... HNR is honorable, taking towns is honorable, anything you can do in game is honorable ... TOH rules is no rules ... More options in game, more fun ...

Just to say something, the player with whom i enjoy playing the most is Kispagat. Why? We play with no rules. I have 4 wins and 6 losses in my matchups with him. We did HNR, battle retreats, castle takings, mentoring, etc. , etc. and we still don't say about each other that's dishonorable. And for the record, from my 4 games won, there's not even 1 won with HNR.

Example - i need badly for my strategy to work one spell, let say haste for mass haste, i not get it in my town magic guild, should i go fight or attempt to take enemy town in hope to get this spell ?
