What is the mimimum bandwidth with which you can play heroes over the internet?

A friend of mine has 8k bandwidth, and we are unsure wether the game will run. If anybody knows the i'd really appreciate an answer

you can play it with 8kb/sec, Im assuming thats what you mean.  But your transfer times might be over 2 minutes long between turns.

it's depending on the map filesize (most of all are medium, but the design and the number of creatures(wandering) / scripts can affect it).

So my suggestion is to try for test , at the beginning , some one layer map (no underground). i think it'll work fine
good luck !

Yep, as Vesuvius said; 56k -telephone- modem is minimum.
It 's also in the 'readme.txt' in the install folder

But Bandwith?
Well you have upstream & downstream (upload & download)
If together thats 8k in this case??
hmm, thats not so good

If u wanna play using Gamespy or such, 8K wont be enough, you will start p*ss-ing the opponent off, - not meant off course - but he/she has to wait lllooooonnnnggg for his/her turn. He or she probly wont like that to much

When u wanna play your friends using a 8k line on Internet, wellll...
It depends, it can be done off course
But if you remain friends will be the question??
