LMAO @ Firespirit... editing away a skill can only be done in the map editor before the game and its nothing you can do in multiplayer game. If you need to do that against the comp, I pity you.

Anyway, not all of us play WOG... I think it is a bit of cheating to play WOG online, since it has so many features that can make you stronger and it is a bit unfair.
Best alchemist for me Daremyth (not counting Solymr) or maybe Rissa...
Fortune is very useful spell sometimes, I say

Solmyr is maybe my favorite Wizard, too, but I cannot explain why.  (I´m losing my mind...)

Early game is the most important stage. In the early game, a good stack of iron/clay golems with two seperate master genies can accomplish quite a bit. Golems are faster and stronger with her and that's vital in the early game stage. Plus, since scholar is a common skill for Tower heroes, you don't need to worry about her having to travel too far to learn blind and slow.
