New Season
The view from the bottom of the HOMM IV antheap is very different to that espoused by the barons and above.
It takes a while to learn how to play the game. Once you are tyepcast as a footman it is hard to escape especially if you can only play once a week or less.
There are many higher ranked players including some who have responded to this thread who will not even talk to a footman let alone play a game. being forced to play recruits every week is a dicey business - 90% of them disappear before the game is finished.
The sooner the new season starts the better.
Ves I also suggest that you change the points system so that players don't build up such high ranks so quickly that they are afraid to play a lower ranked player. In chess you need thousands of games to reach Grand Master - a total of 31 games should not lead to a classification of "emperor".
I think you will find there are many players who would come back if they can be guaranteed a game on GS instead of waiting around for 2 hours or more while the highly ranked pontificate among themselves.

Valky, lets be real here.
Zud is the type of player that plays for FUN. He plays each map to its fullest extent and thusly plays the game to a more maximum extent. A player like TC_Fear is ONLY in for the fastest quickest win! SO anyone who insistes on only using 3% of the game in this barb/immortality rushes etc, and ending the game in week 3 are only wanting points.
SO There! 
And about LIS. I used that as an example since I know that is one of the less rushable maps. Not many other maps that cant be raped by the Barb rush.

FIrst of all, when you say that a new season starts soon, after caesars, it should...Because many players have been looking forward to this.
When new season starts, all players start from 1000. Which means newbies will be more willing to play, as they have good chance of cathing up, and learning much more, because they will play harder opponents. So competition gets harder.
Im sure there are players who want fresh starts/ change nicks, not happy with their games, who are much better players now because of experience. The tournamets start again, that brings color to life, maybe some new ones, new ideas... I thought it would be a good idea if there would be more ranks...now theres recruits, footmen, squre, baron, leg, lord, emp....what if u could make a few more...like between emperor and lord...and maybe like 2500 points a conqueror or something...
what do u think players
ps. why do u have my ip, and system and explorer version everywhere? And does not play well with others? umm....i thought i did a good job after msg-1

if you didn't change the HC handle also, the transformation process is not yet complete. so, in order to do things right , try to make something about, and you'll see , luck will change , being the only aspect you missed so far, in rest , a good player lies inside you, you have just to wake him up.

only thing better then an emerpor is a GOD nothing more nothing less
and jinxer zuds not the only one that plays for fun i play with footmen if i know them not going to play with just any footmen

why not genesis? That is a kewl map. It ends about week 4-5 on average. Easily rushable, if you play cheesy TC_fear tactics. But if you play more fun oriented the map has a lot of various strategic fun.
I am game for about anything, except for UTB or Circle for Life. Sorry Camel.

right now i'm trying to promote one_hot_minute/deep_kick and work on my other map which isnt released yet, so i dont care much about utb much right now. but even so, i gotta ask you to stop sayin that utb is a rush map when it isn't any longer in version 1.9. really, i made 1.9 for a reason, so stop citing examples of a rush someone did on version 1.7.
and even if version 1.9 is somehow rushable, which it isnt, unless you're playing tc_fear, your opponent wont even try to rush you.

No offense obviously Camel. You are one of my buddies and fellow map makers, but if TC_fear can do it, then that means its possible. And if I wanted to set up 4 nights straight with a pot of coffee and practice the crap outta the map I could figure out the exact pattern to accomplish the week 2 day 7 rush. Unless you put a script that says. " If hydras are beat before week 5 then remove BlackDragons guarding Ring of Greater Negation."
Anyways, I am waiting for some feed back from PowerSpot and 1-warm-60secs.
Also camel when you gonna start cranking out some Large+ pseudo random maps. Its time for some of them.
