Honor at the Community Are we supiroir

Honor does everybody at this community have Honor and respect for one anothers skills in the game i mean to we think we Respect each other here.  I know this is a great site and we do share lots of ideas but do we actually listen to others ideas.  Its like juding a book by its cover.  As soon as somebody makes stupid ideas once ther basically banned from the site.  Like whoever wrote about Lara Croft even though it was just stupid we didnt give her a chance

Heres a list of are supioror post members as we should say that i know of

Incubus
Mystery
Archnaid
ElDiablo
The Black Dragon
Sir Dunco
Lord Paul i can think of any others but here at this site to we show honor for each other and you shows the best? This is just a question for the members to think about are we all out to get each other just for a higher ranking at the site?

I sure don't care about a site ranking myself.

It is a fun way to encourage people to chat I think though, and coming soon there will be a great ranking for those who are honorable and respectful towards others.  I think this ranking will be much more valued once Valeriy finishes working it out since you cannot attain it by simply posting.  Wait and see

small number concerned

I think the respect comes from the intellect of the people involved in the game and this board.  Been my experience anyhow from my point of view.

I don't think most of them could give a rip how many posts someone has made as to whether or not they would flame them.  It seems they are just more respectful people and of course there are a few who lose it too.  Fortunately it is a small minority.

Respect

I respect people who actually PLAY the game, who actually spend great amounts of time PLAYING other people. Those of you who played the campaigns once, got fed up with the game and came here just to brag about stars or posts, then you will have to work a lot harder for respect. Some of those here who have very few posts are amongst the very few who know every inch of the game, back to front and will outplay a lot of these so called respected heroes and known heroes very easily.

I have my own firm opinions about this game, but I know who can play and who can't and therefore, regardless of stars, I rank people very differently and hold different levels of respect for each. GoldenDragon, you have done very little but rank people according to their stars, but I'll tell you that there are a great deal of one star people (and tavern dwellers) who hold MUCH more valid opinions because they are far more skilled at the game.

I honestly cannot wait to see how the new star system works out, I think three out of those seven people you listed should lose half of their posts. Once this happens, it should be good to see who really cares about stars and who doesn't...

At the end of the day, be it nobody or be it moderator, respect should come from real belief and not garbage posting.

I wonder if that's the reason people keep telling me I'm full of rubbish? LOL

I agree some people at this site think that post count shows the level of skill in the game by how many post they have so I agree with you

hehe, iīm with you zud

We all suck at heroes 3, we are all addicted to this community and never play online LOL.

Can you not see your reasoning is not right Shae? Like Deth8 once said, lots of people come here in between turns to post here.

Some great players that post here have a lot of posts. (I was going to put some names here, but i feel i might leave out some or include some that donīt have a lot of posts)

I myself post here on the daytime, when i am at work since i canīt play heroes there or i would not have been here in my life I find some time to post here. Usually you will find me playing in the evenings and posting in between turns since i found out about this place

Itīs very interesting to see people post here, no matter how good they play the game, is it not ok for them to love the game even though we never see them in zone??
Shae, you say you respect people who actually PLAY the game. I donīt think people post here if theīve never seen the game or donīt love it. Believe me, i know a few of those names donīt know enough of the game to be able to form a good opinion. But that doesnīt really matter since this community is open to all. People you respect donīt post here since they are playing the game all day long. We all know Zud plays 24-7 if he gets the chance but he is a well-respected poster here as well.

So you go ahead and respect people that have few posts here since they are masters of the game and i will respect all that post here and have something to say, any input is welcome.

eh?

I don't even follow this one, lol  I didn't think that the stars and such were here to give us another superficial way of judging each other, but just as a means to see how many posts somebody has made - i don't really get how this would relate to honour in any way.
Someone could post "Piquedram rulezzzz" on each new thread, and do so 10 times a day (not in succession of course) would that person then over a few weeks become our member of the highest "honour"? lol  i dun think so man
I'd say we should be looking at the quality of the posts not quantity if we're using this board as our way of deciding how we feel about someone - if u gotta be judging read the words in the post, don't just sit and count some stars...

Cheesus

I have spoken to LOTS of people who say that 'no I don't play heroes anymore, I got bored of it after the first week.' And some of those people have an awful lot of posts on this forum...

I agree with Zud and you Cheese, but there are quite a few tossers around who have very little idea about the game and yet hold a very high rank and spit on other people merely because of their star status. This sucks in a major way.

I'm NOT saying that those who post a lot are not heroes players and the ones who post least spend all of their time playing. I'm just saying that even the smallest of posters deserve respect too and in some cases, they deserve much more respect than the guy with 200+ posts.

What I'm saying is that the star system does not equate to respect for me. Hell, I play like crap at heroes, I've never made any claim to being good at it, but I sure as hell try to be and just because I have three lousy stars doesn't mean that somebody like Kuma (welcome) should have to respect me. I will bow to Kuma every time and listen to him with the respect that he deserves because I know him to be a much much better player than me. You too Cheesus, you almost certainly play a lot better than me so I am more apt to listen to you than I am someone like.... well, no names for now okay?

And Zud, you know I always tremble at the sight of your RareSirLoins!
