Why not just make a new character now and plan on Gorman eventually dying off? It doesn't hurt to have more than one character.

Wow...everyone fighting to just KILL my character? How amusing.... I sorta figured with so many seemingly all powerful ppl in the RPG now...it's just....hmmm....not that fun anymore for a simple divine being with a sword. What can he do against magic? It's not like he's got a natural resistance or anything. It's not as though anyone would actually let him close enough to be harmed by him. Maybe what I'm attempting to say is that it seems slightly unfair? Almost all seems like "magical this" or "fireballs that". Making demon armies and the like. Perhaps a newer character to add some spice...I was thinking of an elven asassin that'd have some sort of magical resistance.....but figured I'd be taking Leo's idea so....... bah....

Uh....but I have changed my mind....Leo and I talked last night and have come across some interesting possibilities to some story line if I chose not to die. And for the record, I think he does a better job of role playing me than I do!

It's not necessarily writers block......it's more like.......there's too many damn magic users that can easily rape an Archangel if they deem it fit

As an archangel, shouldn't you be able to receive blessings from your god in the form of protection from magic? Even if it's an evil-minded git of a god?

Hmm, are you referring to my character?
If so, my only defense is - it makes sense.
Dean's been given special gifts by the King of Hell himself, has become more than human with infusions of demon blood, and as such has gained the powers to fight Heavenly opponents - which is what demons like to do in their spare time between lava baths and Friends re-runs.

I guess I see this as more of a "I want to do this..." rather than a "This is a natural course of action if choice A is made by my character. This looks like it could be interesting, let's do this."
In order words you are concentrating on what you can't do rather than what will happen based on the choices available to your character.
Simply because you are not as powerful, does not mean you can do nothing.
A perfect example is Harry Potter. How are three student able to defeat a powerful wizard? They are resourceful and make opportunities happen for themselves.
Edit: Ok well let's get some posts soon please. I'm losing my inspiration.

Ok im gonna give a basic outline on how I wish things to go...tell me if you guys like the idea
Ok, I want to meet Lyon, and fool him into bringing me directly to the others. I would pretend to say RSF's son is actually my son. Then when RSF receives word from Severya (sp?) He figures it out, and reveals my true identity, we have a battle/showdown, which involves RSF having to kill his own corrupted son. Before i am able to escape, RSF banishes me to another realm, ironically the same hell that Deimos currently presides over, we battle, and i force him to send me back up to earth or wherever this is all taking place. This is where i meet Dean, and we form a temporary alliance.
Ok now this is where it gets chaotic. I want Dean to come up with some way to destroy the entire physical earth, like some sort of weapon or ritual or something, a summoning of a evil greater than all of the forsaken ones combined. As you all may have noticed, the Unholy one, in his possessed elf, has been developing a conscience. The unholy one decides to save the world he had once tried so hard to destroy. For unknown reasons, he plunges himself into an altar of sorts, canceling the ritual, and killing himself.
Later on, the ressurected Gorman ressurects the once possessed elf, who i will then play as.
