Dry County Blues v1.2 Release

OK.  It's like this.  I got sick of studying.  I've been at it non-stop for weeks now.  So, I decided to take the day off, but I had to work on something, and today I chose to procrastinate by refreshing an old map that needed some work.  Yes, Dry County Blues is now a faster and better map.  Here are the changes I documented in the readme file:

Quote:
Vast changes.  Added new linked town to each side guarded by a stack of 65 mermaids (base).  Set the tavern guards to 520 peasants (base).  Killing the tavern guards now automatically builds taverns in your home town and linked town.  Adjusted artifacts.  Added 2 witch's huts and 1 beastmaster's hut per side.  Enriched the map significantly.  Quest hut now sells ring of regeneration.  Replaced boots of travel with equestrian's gloves.  Added an ivory tower and a sacred temple to each side.  Added a "valor bonus" for killing the guards in front of the gold mines in the northwest corner of the map.  Added a number of significant altars.  Order players get an extra altar of scouting and an extra treasure chest.  This map should now be faster and less frustrating in the early stages.

I couldn't remember all the changes I made, but I tested it and refined it for a good, long time, and I think it's a much better map.  You can download it, of course, from Laelth's HOMMaps, http://www.vandea.com/homm/maps.html.  The new version should also be available at ToH soon.

Hope you enjoy it!
