I know they're actually level 7 but they are considered to be level 8, so that is why we speak of them as 8th level creatures. The reason they cannot be recruited the same as other monsters(including Azure for example) is something else, having to do with their special nature.
...and by the way... did anyone find what's the real name of Leo Dwarfslayer??

anyways, I was off for a week to Austria (skiing), so sorry i keep you waiting so long I will provide you with a set of questions tomorrow... I have to catch up with a hell lot of things at school first... and then the questions 
EDIT: I have an Idea...
I see that the game is getting more and more active and more and more people enter this challenging contest to test their skills and knowledge of Wake of Gods... As I am not the grand-master of the game, I can neither change the rules nor the "interface" of the game... Thus I have a proposal...
Due to the activity, I suggest that there are a few question-makers to provide with questions consequently I think three of them would be ok... They would either take shifts and provide with questions each week or make one list of questions, chosen along with the other question-makers... in case one member gets missing, the other can provide with more questions
I would like to hear your feedback... Yes, I am certainly happy that I am chosen to give out the questions, but now it will be a hard time... I do not know those "tactical sides" of WoG (ex.: How can you get 60 griffs a week etc.). Yet, I think I will be able to make up a nice list of questions...
Still, consider my proposal about the question-maker trio
The questions...
1 : Which 8th level creatures have the ability to re-gain lost hit points/dead creatures?
2 : Sorceress is a ranged spell-caster... What spells can she inflict when attacking?
3 : Which commander is most "fond of precious, sparkling gold..."? Why?
4 : How many levels a commander need to have all skills GM + abilities?
5 : Is there a way to get EXTRA creatures in battle, while trusting your creatures only (no commanders, spells or artifacts...)?
6 : Is there a way to retaliate non-retaliatory attacks?
7 : What is the effect of an opal?
8 : What is/become of Petal?
9 : How are the golems and peasants aligned?
10 : How many creatures get HP changes when "rebalanced creatures" option is turned on? Or don't they, huh?
11 : Which of the heroes changed his face/avatar in Wake of Gods?
12 : How can your hero fly? All the possibilities...
13 : What is the maximum number of gems you can get daily?
14 : Which commander may increase hit points of a special stack on certain conditions?
15 : How can a hero get more weekly creatures than the number of them received in town?
and a set of unanswered questions to most of which I do not know the answer myself (NOTE: gom, you can answer to these questions, but as they are yours, you will not get a point... that is to make things fair )
1. Why 8-th level monsters can't be recruited from their dwelling like any other monsters?
2. How can you get one gem every day?
3. How can you get an enemy to have -1 to morale?
4. How can you have Stone Skin spell on all allied units in the beggining of a battle?
5. What are the sources of mithril in a map?
and... god's sake... What is the name of Leo Dwarfslayer ?
These are the questions... It's hard for me to think up questions... But I hope these won't be too easy, or i will have to end up spending whole weekend thinking questions
And yep, Gom, I want to play more

1.Blood Dragon and Hell Hydra (only regenerates lost hit points)
2.POISON, SORROW, ACIDBREATH or FORGETFULNESS with 11% chance each
SLOW, CURSE or DISPEL with 8% chance each
HYPNOTIZE, BLIND, BERSERK or AGE with 4% chance each
MISFORTUNE, DISRUPTING RAY, DISEASE or WEAKNESS with 4% chance each
3.Paladin?...Because of how he looks like? ;P

9.Stone/Iron golems are Tower's creatures...Peasants,gold/diamond golems are neutral ones. with "enchanted monsters" script gold/diamond golems align with Tower and Peasants with Castle.

Brute... because they like to be rich...

6 x 6 + 1 = 37 (because they start on level 1 ). If they already have an ability at the beginning, then 36.
5 : Is there a way to get EXTRA creatures in battle, while trusting your creatures only (no commanders, spells or artifacts...)?
Yes. You can always use Ghosts.
6 : Is there a way to retaliate non-retaliatory attacks?
Crimson Shield of Retribution.
7 : What is the effect of an opal?
It gives an ability to your commander.
11 : Which of the heroes changed his face/avatar in Wake of Gods?
Nagash.
12 : How can your hero fly? All the possibilities...
Fly spell from spell book or obelisk, Angel Wings.
13 : What is the maximum number of gems you can get daily?
Mines + resource piles + multiple Cornucopias + events (rare) + diamond dragons + resource silo from tower: impossible to tell because there is chance involved.
15 : How can a hero get more weekly creatures than the number of them received in town?
Dwellings, certain artifacts (i.e. pendant of life which gives sprites) and timed events (rare).

5 : Is there a way to get EXTRA creatures in battle, while trusting your creatures only (no commanders, spells or artifacts...)? Some creatures can summon other creatures or clones of creatures when experienced enough.
9 : How are the golems and peasants aligned? I think this one artifact (pendant of free will?) upgrades all golems and peasants at the beginning of each week.
14 : Which commander may increase hit points of a special stack on certain conditions? Soul eaters and paladins can restore hit points of damaged stacks, but I guess you mean succubus, who temptates enemy troops to join her cause before the start of battle. If you have same creatures you are going to battle with in your army , you get this little "reinforcement" added to your existing stacks..

I will make two sets of questions, probablly next weak, just in case you wont be able to. As for the advice you an get from me... I can only tell you that I base my questions on the gameing experience. I play allot so I face many different aspects of the game. Whenever I start makeing questions I also begin a map(for inspiration).
