An idea
I think it would be a good thing if members were able to moderate their own threads. It would help keep order in some roleplays when the moderators are away for example.

Maybe this could be a bonus to 4 star members...
I certainly like the idea. However, I don't know how such a thing could be implemented without giving the member TOO much power. Obviously abusing it would result in penalties.
Oh I have an idea. This could be given to both 3 and 4 star members but only at the permission of a moderator. If any abusing of power occurs the member will no longer be allowed to moderate their thread and will be given a penalty depending on the circumstances. What do you think?

This would only help the moderators do their jobs. Threads in Glade have to be closely monitored and would be a large burden to have the moderator to watch them so closely especially if the moderators are not active. It would be much easier to allow a responsible user to look over their own thread, because they would more likely have an understanding of the thread. However, this should only be given on a thread specific basis by the mods and only to members that can be trusted.

It could be done so that any member who starts a topic can hide posts. It would be replaced with a bar with a link so that others can open it if they wanted to read it but it would remain "hidden" for everyone else. Then it's obvious to mods that for some reason the thread creator doesn't want that post there and can review it. For starred people who like extra stuff, there could be an allotment of how many hidden threads you can have. So for 2 stars you can have 2 hidden threads, 3 stars with 4 hidden threads, 4 stars with 10 or something like that.
Of course that's just an idea.
