Well I tried to click the regsetup and restart again, and for some reason it worked so I've got into the zone. Too bad noone wants to play ;P

Another usual prob for dsl modem and router user is that they forgot set the ip nat in fix mode instead dhcp mode and redirect all port to the ip internal computer used to play. When u do this redirecction only need to open any port between 2100 - 2400 , the dx port (diferent if use dx 7,8 or dx9), and zone gaming port listed in
<+NibblesNbits Zone_com HelpSite.htm>

One question:
Isn't is dangerous to disable your firewall while playing? I don't know much about computers, but doesn't it prevent hacking and viruses/trojans and plus because we are in an online community?

Problem with Heroes Complete and Zone..
Hey Everyone,
Well I use to play long time with SoD and it works just fine with the Msn Zone.
A few days ago I install the Heroes Complete version.
I use the SetupReg.exe to let the Zone recognize the new version but when i try to play on the Zone,
(Host or Join).
The Zone recognize it but, start the game from the main screen like u start the game orginall from windows witout any conection to my opponent like usuall.
Instad diractly go into the multiplayer lobby it go to the main screen and if i choose to go there to multiplayer its just acting like there is no persom on the other side.
Someone know this problem?
Please help,

1. Uninstall HoMM3 (all versions)
2. Start/RUN regedit
3. Search for "New World Computing".
4. Delete the entire Folder and anything else you find
under HoMM/heroes3/sod etc.
5. REBOOT
Reinstall HoMM3
Use SETUPREG.EXE (Only if needed).

Free online gaming
hello...
I'm new here so don't flame me yet.
I'm looking for a free online gaming server but it's hard to find it.I see lot of them that gives only a montsh or so of free access and then "hastalavista you sexy looking guy..."
I don't know english very well so sorry if I typed something wrong.I played couple of months before n a Gamespy but now I can't find the games to enter.I think it was only free access for a short time.I know it's foolish to look for a free game server but maybe it exists.

I have a ZONE gaming problem, when I try to lounch H3 room, It says Couldn't lounch, close your browser and try again, and theres nothing I can do about it, please help me, what to do ???

Sorry Peiper, i didnīt saw this post for a long time...
But i can tell ya, my spanish isnīt good enough to translate that all. Iīm doing hard with the english language, but my spanish is even worse...

Hello
I have recently installed ( ALL org. ) heroes 1.0 to 1.4 but now I anted to install the AB 2.0.-2.2 and 3.0- 3.2 ( still all org. ) but I canīt seem to get it right ? any suggestions ?
Direcory is : C:/programfiles/3do/heroes3
and all I get ( when launching on zone ) is that it starts in single player ? hmm

I got a prob now..
could not save game as RMT>08sc.bin
error opening file .\data\rmt>08sc.bin
This appeared for my Heroes 3 game when I try to play tcp/ip. What does it mean? I am trying to connect to a different pc in my own house. Friends coming to play. The other pc is using win2000. And the one with the prob is using XP. I have Armageddon's Blade and it's version 2.
So this is the problem whenI try to host from the XP machine.
But when I host from the 2000, it loaded the map and went into the game just fine. It was waiting for other players.... stuck at that screen while the XP machine would follow in and then the same error msg appeared.
Can't seem to play on my XP machine?

Sorry to bug you with more stupid questions but I need some help regarding multiplayerconnction.
I have WinXp SP2 and a version of Heroes 3 AB that has a crack for win_nt. I have downloaded the upgrade ab20to22.exe and executed it.
What now ?

I donīt know about gamespy, but on zone, u cannot play AB. You have to play through TCP/IP.
And first, u have to check your current version by rightclicking your heroes.exe, properties, version.
If it says 2.0.0.0, then u have the right patch.
If it says 2.1.0.0, u have the wrong one.
When having the right one, do like in the first post of this thread described.

I've been trying for the past 3 days to make my heroes work on the zone but in vain. I've installed h3 complete, heroes all 3 (roe,ab,sod) patched to 3.2 and crack and so on..
The problem is when I start the game: it gets me in the multi menu but only me and the other person is ejected to the desktop.
The problem when I try to join a game: it gets me in the game and it just stays there waiting and waiting for nothing.
I have shared router internet connection.
Firewall is disabled.
I have a port forward but I don't know how to use it with ZOne.com.
What should I do ???
