No really? Sorry but I really think Mods should be more like Alc/Elvin/Angelito than RSF. Yes this was more a response to the fact that I "transformed this into a school" (RSF being on the other side I guess). Would you prefer a Mod that makes fun of everything or one that respects the rules like he should (like Alc)? And yes RSF is one of those that spammed a lot and didn't get penalized (what I was talking about in that Lexxan thread)
Now anyway, I do not want to be a Mod. I realized I won't spend that much time on HC (as you've seen lately), and this penalty thing really brought a bad taste into my mouth, so I'll be even less active.

Ash didn't do anything wrong in the Lexxan thread, and I'm sure she'd make an awesome mod. As for you, you wouldn't be too bad of a mod either - the only problem is that you're not active enough.

Maybe I said a few harsh things. Pandora maybe jumped the gun or not.
People do like you on here.

Pandy & I have been friends for years. She likes it or not I get a little offensive when someone gets into it with her.

To be fair, RSF wasn't a bad mod. But Alc, Elvin, and even Angelito () are good examples for mods.

WHen Sox was first mod in his first term, he was a horrible mod. He did come up with the complaints threads for each forum though.
He changed & actually was not that bad.

Heck no.
Some where pissed off with his Boot camp ways.
Could not have fun. dishing out -QP's when you had the slightest arguments.
Made it like we was prisoners in the tavern.
I almost got banned when i fought for alot of us.
The mod war.....
I got 2 mods to quit during that time. I could never do it now.
Val was furious. He came --- that close to banning me for that.
I really do regret how i was with Lich_King. I was trying to protect my X GF on here.
I just felt like I had to speak my mind with Sox. He did alot for HC but was not a peoples person.

Some double accounts, veiled insults, and who knows what else. We may have become a bit too lax on the CoC. I mean we are generally good people, and we don't want people to feel like that we are the NWO looking over their shoulders. So we let some things slide, and try to politely get things back on track. What happens when that stops working?
I for one like Asheera (heck check my signature), and am even a little more guilty of using the smiles then she is. However, I am not sure I disagree with Pandora on this either. With all the +qp junk going on and the clones/multiple accounts we as Mods might have to be a little tougher to start cleaning up a mess WE allowed to happen in the first place.
Hey, I will admit, I don't have to worry about it mostly. I am just the mod of the Roleplaying forums and things are generally peaceful there. So I have the luxury of not having to worry as much as say Pan does. Pan does one heck of a job, and I don't envy her at all. She has a LOT of responsibility. Right now I am on the fence on this. I think you all should cut Pandora some slack though. Seriously.

For me, the perfect example of a mod is Alci: calm, polite and resolute if necessary. 
As for possible candidates.. Yeah Asheera would be perfect with all the dedication towards HC, but she doesn't want to, so that's settled, I guess.
Cepheus would be good 
I think Corribus would be great as a OSM mod too, if he was a bit more active.
RSF, I like the guy, but not sure whether he's neutral enough to be a mod

Sometimes it is not all about how long a person has been around, or even about how much they contribute though both help a LOT.
Keeping a level head, helping others without worrying about rewards, being able to commit the time needed..
Mods are all different, hey were human. I mean I am not the biggest contributer here by a long shot. I am kinda of chaotic, and level head..please. Thus why I stay in my little corner of the Roleplay forum instead of try to branch out to other forums  . And there is MM... .
So here is a short addition to the faq about becoming a moderator that you should learn before applying.
Can you stand people questioning your every move, and examining everything with a fine tooth comb?
Can you remain as neutral as possible in every topic, or if not, avoid flame wars and or hitting people with fishes?
If people are annoying can you TACTFULLY tell them they are being annoying?
Can you take a BUNCH of of people telling you how to do your job, how bad you are at your job, and how they could do better at your job?
Can you stand by your decision, despite people trying to pressure you into reversing said decision?
That's all I can think of for now, but i know I am forgetting a few things

Sometimes I do wonder if some of the newer mods can handle what Pandora has been handling lately?
I dont know maybe, maybe not.
Pretty rediculas comparing Mods to others mods.
I always considered Mods equal & favorable in their own right. I like each mod as Mods in different ways. They bring us alot.
Every mod has been good mods since I have been here, except for Kitten & Romana.
Those 2 are the exception of the rule.
Sox when he became a mod for the second time was a good mod.
Point is that every mod is different. Their styles is different.
Kind of idiotic to point fingers or or compare.

VokialBG and MightyMage are now moderators of the Dimension Gates forum, thanks to Pandora for keeping a watchful eye there. Forum has been pretty much dead, and now has a new designation to cover all games in M&M Universe not covered by other forums.
