Will we ever be able to mod H2?

There are so many creature edits for H2, and yet no "WOG" made for it. I've been looking around the net for a program that will unpack and repack the game so that we'll be able to add our own creatures but all I found was this:

http://heroes.diaspora.ru/hmm2/files/unagg.zip

It seems to be a program that somebody once made to unpack the *.agg files which store music and graphics for the game. With the executables in the zip file I can view every single frame of graphics.

However, if we ever want to actually mod the game we'll need some program to convert these *.ICO files to usable graphics like PCX and vice versa. Then we'll also need to be able to pack the whole thing. This is definatly not too difficult for one who is good with these kinds of things (like a WOG programmer?) but I just have no idea how to approach the problem.

So if you have the skills and can do this, please post or at least teach us how so that we can actually -use- our graphics in H2 modding.

i will ask the wog team for some help but i don't promise anything

the unagg was used to unpack the h2 creatures and insert them into h3 but they didn't look good there

I would deffinetly join this project...We would be able to create custom creatures, but...how about adding them as new ones ?
