Seinfeld Aproach to Heroes
What is the deal with playing heroes 3 online ? Why do we do it ? Is it really multiplayer ? Cause I play single player like 95% of the time. And in last day we meet the opponent big fight and that's it. Do we need the human factor so bad so we have to look for him for an hour or so, save every turn , acuse him of cheating etc and really play him for just one turn ?.
You know what we really need to do, we need to make the computer think slower so he can take let's say 2 to 5 minutes turn. We teach him to say gl hf and gg, combine that with toh reporting afterwards and we have the perfect opponent.
Pure boredom

we play online because the computer sux biiiiiiiiiiiig time at this game ( like on most games ),and if u want to improve youre skill be 100% that playing vs cpu that will NOT happen.

this is the reason they should have a "no n00b threads" rule in this section.
multiplayer is fun because even if you fight comp creatures most of the time you know you will have to do it better than your opponent to earn an advantage.
So while you kill computer creatures you are doing it to put yourself in a better position than your opponent, meaning you are playing against him all the time even if the end fight itself only is 10% of the game.
And that end fight is a challenge, the better player you play the more of a challenge.
If you play computer there is no challenge at all.
There is the difference.
Now take your philosophical n00b BS some place else

lol! I thought it was funny, maybe it helps to try to imagine it as read by Seinfeld?
To further the experience, you'd need to figure how to program the computer to randomly take very long turns - and then disconnect for ohh.. 20 minutes before you can resume playing

Computer cant learn.. talk with you, and when u know theres another player against you, it makes u feel really good.. aspecially if u win.. ur tactics won against another thinking human being

Quickly Pandora. Download WoG 3.58 before 3.58f comes out.
There is a bug in this version which causes A.I to take a long time between turns.
