What is it?
I was talking to an HC member over MSN, and I mentioned searching for a picture and when I found it I gave him the url. His response: o m f G
The picture:
When I enquired why he omfg'd at the picture, he said "because they look gay". When I linked him to a few more pictures and asked what makes them look gay, he said "their hair". What about their hair, I ask, and what does he says? "It looks gay".
Now tell me people - what is it about Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon that makes them look gay?

Well they do look Gay.. But so does Kiss, and i like Kiss a very big deal.. And the hair doesn't help either.

nope they don't look gay at all. they are very cool and they look very 80's-ish 
michael jackson looks gay , all boy band members look gay, but queen don't, they are cool

IMHO, Michael Jackson doesn't not look gay. I don't like his looks or most of his music(he's made a few good songs) But he doesn't look gay.

It looks so puffish.. Like they use a very long time on making it look that way. Maybe it's because i've watched to many movies with sterotype fags, but thats the way i see it.

It doesn't just look like hair.
It looks like a coiffeur. As in, some hairdresser has spent 3 hours chating to them about where they're going for their holidays, how her sister Rita's got a new man and the state that Main road is in, the council should do something about it don't you think.
What straight man could stand that for 3 hours??

I must admit, itwas i who said it. I'm not ashamed, i just said what first came to mind when i saw it. I like kiss, they make good music, but look gay. Then theres queen, they look gay, and i do not like their music, thats why they got it.

Also, Asmodean, those were the seventies. You have to take into account that hair like that was trendy back then. People had long hair regardless of their sexuality.

I think that somehow, the 80s has gotten the tag "gay" in the nineties and beyond..
One can ask oneself why, but the answer is kinda obvious if you look at the stereotype picture that's being thrown at us. Just think of that Robin Williams movie, The Bird Cage.
Combine thios film with Queen and the 80's.....

There is a difference between homo and bisexual you know.
EDIT:
And on the first pic in this thread, the big thing on Freddie's head certainly isn't real hair. I'll have to watch that video again, but I think it's some sort of feathers.
Also, about Queen's on-stage outfits - there is a big difference between gay and excentric.

Imo, the thread discussion is all wrong in one thing: 
Just my opinion, but:
A person cant litterary look gay.
A person can be gay/be/whuteva, but you cant look gay. You can look strange, ugly, nice, excentric, cool - but not gay, gay is a "state", not a look. 
So, no, they don't look gay. They look 80ish, as Ratmonkex said correctly^^ and they maybe look a bit weird - the guy on the first pic in red (shame on me i don't know his name) even looks quite cool - maybe not those eyes on the shirt, but the rest , imo^^ - So, well, just my 2 cents

So because people don't agree with you, they are gay? Kind of a harsh statement.
Daddy i disagree, people CAN look gay. If you see a person, and you think they are gay, they LOOK gay, you don't know it, but you think it. Something must tell you that their gay, and since you haven't talked to them it must be their looks(unless they are grabbing a guy's ass) So in fact, people CAN look gay..

E.g. the movie Pirate of the Caribbean - how Jack Spearow moves - .. You can call it gay - yes (the way he moves his arms e.g. or the fact that he wears make up^^), um... How to say this...^^
Ah yes!
Well, I guess this is just a matter of formulations. You say someone looks gay. I would say in this situation he looks as if he was gay SO- basically meaning the same thing, but spelled differently o.O.....
I would allways say, you can only be gay, not look gay. YOu can only look like you were gay - making you think they are gay. I hope, you get what I wanna say

Ok, let's get one thing straight. Those are pictures of Queen. Queen are legends of rock. As far as I care, they could have all wore "I'm gay" t-shirts. It would'n matter. You know why? Because we're talking about Queen,
and they were far too good to say anything bad about them.
And no, they do not look gay. But every boy band does.
