i also simply LOVE her sword...
there is a sword like it in Le Pac Des Lupes, a good movie...
i made a 3rd ed artifact out of it, a necromancer sword ^.^

I admit Ivy has some good moves (and nice cleavage) but some of her moves are hard to figure out, for me anyway (Not that I'm too busy looking at...anything else).
As I said earlier I don't own a new console so I'm not sure what the console version is like. It sounds like there is a campaign mode. Around Feburary I'm gonna pick up a Game Cube so that will probably be one of the first games on my list.

Just don't press the directions too fast, allow yourself about 4 seconds to do so.

would be a shame to let this fade...
never was a fan of 3d beat em ups... but Soul Edge (Soul Blade) and the two Soul Calibur games are simply without par
one of the smartest series in its genre (if you can still count it there) and simply put ...the ones behind it could teach a thing or two to many people...
it was fun playing that game... fights with friends, unlocking weapons... aaah! anybody knows if there ever will be a pc version?

How come I heard nobody about my guy?
I'll scream his name out loud if I have too : YUNSUNG!!!
This guy is unstoppable because almost all of his combo's can be linked with a kick-combo, use his in a team with Assassin and Raphael and you'll win guaranteed.
Yoshimitsu is great too, he just looks weird in SC.
Mitsurugi is one of my favorites too because the simple two-button-combo's can rip you already.

Yoshimitsu belongs in SC if you ask me...
in Tekken he was the oddball... he had a sword but rarely (if ever) used it... now, that makes no sense, does it?

no, all his major moves were throws and stuff in Tekken, actually saw him use it only once , but SC is more suited for him yes, glad they put him in (though I get sick of people only using his sword stance and continue jumping 'till they've won or realise I've been attacked that way to often to still get hit )

Yunsung is pretty cool, but he doesn't have the best combos...everything can be countered pretty easy. As for Yoshimitsu, it's his oddballness that makes him so cool to me...did you know he has 2 suicide moves? Me n my bro do contests to see who can kill themselves faster with him.

playing Soul Calibur 3 right now.
It is simply amazing!
The best part is they split Nightmare and Siegfried and give Siggy his old moveset back.
My best characters are Cervantes, Siegfried, and as much as I hate to admit it Raphael. (at least it's not Voldo)

hmmm...
how about a little contest for you kids?
since i feel a bit out of the loop, who can compile a list with all characters that appeared throughout the series (if possible complete with pics) including any and all alternative looks?
