Messengers

Alot of the posters in here wanna have new monsters for WOG 3.59. The reason why we cant do this is that there's a max creatures in the game.(about 255 i think) Many of the suggestions for new monsters that have been posted here are absolutely briliant if properly animated. So i guess my question is: Why havent the WOG team removed the messengers. They seem very poorly animated and they have no reason to be in the game. It seems to me like you were in a hurry and needed more monsters for 3.57 when you made theese. I almost never get them when i play and if i do i normally dont use them. We already have 4(12) elements in the game, so lets replace the messengers with something cooler! and while im at it i can start complaining about the santa gremlins. is this supposed to be som bad joke or something theese dont deserve a place in the game and especially not when they are taking important and useful space!

please dont be affended by this post in any means. This is simply a plain question and comment on your already so great expansion!

Good point. I would also like to ask if anyone actually used the emmisaries (war, mana etc).

I used to think negatively about messengers too, but now with the new scripts they are at least useful (and hard to defeat)..

    And some of the building too. We have some buinding from the game Age of Empires and Disciples.( May be from other games too) Can be better if the team change this building too.

why not keep Pixies/Sprites, but ditch everything else from conflux + kill Messengers and Emissaries. this gives us a vacant town-type and 20 creatures to redesign. 16 if you insist on keeping Elementals so that the summoning spells will still work the same. although i have some rude comments about the summoning spells too.

Why should we remove them? They are not taking the space of creatures.

I doubt if all players will agree to remove the conflux town type. At least the team won't.

The only time when i ever use messengers is with the metamorph script. I think that one is kinda cool! About the emmisaires.... No i dont think we should remove those. They have a certain strategical advantage to them and again they are kinda cool

I do, especially if I can get them early enough on XL maps. Your main hero can gain insane bonus or you can just give the emissary to your second hero (defending the capitol or whatever).

I agree about the messangers, though. They suck big time... They seem like one of first creature experiments. Thumbs down!

However, keep in mind that the total number of creatures (even with new commanders for 3.59) is still not that close, because it takes a lot of time and work to create a great creature...

So let's wait a little before we kill off any. The more, the merrier!
