Generate Random and Edit
I know this is ridiculous because I know people edit saved games. But I can't seem to generate a random map, save it and then go to the editor to edit it. I'm not cheating, this is before play, and it's not for toh, it's for a friend and me to play by email.
Can I generate a random map in the editor?
I've tried to edit randoms that I generate but I can't find them in the editor.

Just open the editor and click on "new".
A window will appear, where u can amrk the last line called "Generate random map". If u do so, a larger menue will open with some settings u can change.
The other way to edit a random map is, open your heroes game, click on NEW, RANDOM, make your settings and let the comp create it. When ready, just leave the game. Open your explorer and look for the folder "random maps". Should be a subfolder from your HEROES folder. There your random map will be saved. Just doubleclick the one with the latest date, and the editor opens automatically, and u can edit it like u want
