hmm btw ... I did create three extra fest maps about 2 years ago. Some peeps in the zone nowadays play them reminded me I made those ,, so I thought perhaps you can add them....
Who shall I email them too?

i lost my first game against petrus, hmmmmmmmm Neela is too hot........
but im very unlucky with utopias
got "powerfull" relics:
boots of levitation
and orb of vulnerability
its got 2 utopias

-all the maps from the bastards site are RoE version and when played with sod or complete, combined artifacts appear on the map, which is crappy.So every player must save them as sod maps.(i think this is commonly agreed i just say it in case there is someone who didn't know it yet)
About 2 vs 2 games:
-what rules are valid for this regardind artifacts or troops trading?
-is surendering an option in games where tavern is enabled?
-is surendering and trading arties to ally an option?
-is trading creaturea an option?
I would like someone(preferably Lichking as organiser) to clear these issues cos there are some less experienced players(such of myself) that don't really know what is allowed and what is a no-no.
just my two cents
You can have more than one hero on maps with Taverns enabled, as long as you have dismissed all of them EXCEPT 1 by the end of your turn. This helps with chaining, etc, but remember it also eats up a good portion of your 2 min turn.
On a map with a Tavern enabled you can hire and dismiss heroes to your heart's content as long as you don't have more than 1 hero when you end your turn. It's your 2 min, and if you're feeling lucky enough to draw a Taz or Hack then by all means feel free to use the time as you wish.......
The simplest way to explain a 2v2 game is like this. One team will win and one will lose. The players on the winning team will each get one point.
You are totally free to trade armies/arts off to your teammates on 2v2 games, but just remember that this could leave you very vulnerable.......
On 3 way FFA games, the first person eliminated will report a loss to the player who ultimately wins the game. The player who comes in second does not report.
Combo Arts: If you do not want prebuilt combos enabled then make sure you are playing a SoD save version of the map. As far as gathering the components individually and then combining them goes--If you can do it then go for it!
If you are playing a map upon which Fly, TP, DD is enabled then you are free to use those spells. Additionally, if you can get an Air Tome or Angel Wings then those are fair to use as well.
Surrendering: You may not ever surrender. Period. If you surrender you lose.
Utopias: Feel free to fight your battles inside Utopias on normal combat. Nothing sucks more than having the 'AI' kill half of your army with its own breath weapons. Just remember to switch back to QC when you exit the Utopia.
If you can reach an opponent's auxillary town (not his starting town) before day 10 then you are free to attack and take it as long as his hero is not present there.

I should a been payin more attention to this message board and the toh page, wish i would a known bout this when it started, i would a joined in a heart beat. Fest is awesome and i still miss it, is it to late to get into the fest tourney? I think ,my membership in toh has lapsed, been awhile since i played a toh game. I went and reregistered my username in toh, suprise surprise it's still available
ps. hi everybody, seems like a lotta the same peeps still hangin around here or at least the same guys still like to fest!! Glad to see it, and by the way, homm 5 looks like it's gonna be great!!so BBBLLLRR BBBBLLLRRR!!!! to all the doom and gloomers!!!

stupid zone!!
stupid zone won't recognize game is installed on comp unless it's on the C: drive. I wanna fest but cann't find my HOMM# cd's great!! I'll have to dig around for them or maybe i can find a copy of homm SOD in a bargain bin somewhere. but don't worry i'll be back up and festing soon
PS: I think i still have a copy of JB's original fest map. let me tell you it's an uglyyyyyyy map. all small and no nice goodie box for instant stat boost, in fact if you not good at hiding a lot and get lucky and no comp finds you early you can sometimes survive the first week on the map!

Not true.
Your problem can be easily solved without re-installing the whole game. All u need is the "setupreg.exe" file. How to handle with it and how to make it work is described here. Just read the first post, point 5.)
Needs just 2 minutes to solve....
Have fun with the Fest tourney afterwards...

Battlefest activity has severely declined in the past couple of weeks.
The tourney will end shortly, probably within a week to 10 days. The top 6 or 8 (depending upon activity before closure) players will then face off in a bracketed series of elimination rounds. This will either be a best of 3 or best of 5 format. Any input regarding preferences for the number of games to be played submitted here from active 'Festers will be considered.
Look for specifics either here or on the ToH mainpage in the next couple of days.

Battlefest ends....
15 September, USA CST.
No reports will be accepted after then. (Prolly not going to be a problem considering I've had 1 report since the last time I updated the Fest pages.)
For all of those who jumped into this thread and said that they wanted to fest....and then just 'disappeared'....well, nevermind. Use your imagination and I'm sure you can come close to what I was thinking about saying to you.
For the rest.....there will be a news item on the mainpage concerning Finals.

Heya Lich!
I tried to report several games I played with Kuma for the tourney, but my freemail did not let those emails go through, always got an error message. Please register those games-thanks.
To all others who showed some interest in this sub tourney, please at least react to what Lich said and let's finish the competition. There were only a few players who really seemed to be interested in this tourn. which is all about fun and no bullsnow at all. I really enjoyed, thank you for the opportunity and the work you put into organizing this Lich!!
