Disney of Might and Magic
I was thinking it may be fun for the really young ones under us to get familiar with HoMM with the use of their favorite Disney characters.
For example The Lion King
..I would be tempted to play this one too!
Imagine the cast of Monsters and co. or from A Bugs Life!
Heroes can be Hercules, Alladin, Snow White, Cinderella and evil ones Jafar, The wicked Witch, etc
watcha think?

Lion King
Level 1 - The Toucan thingy
Level 2 - Simon
Level 3 - Puumba
Level 4 - Hyena
Level 5 - The Female Lion
Level 6 - Scar
Level 7 - Simba

I don't think many people would notice. Most Homm towns (creature selection) has consistency of Disneyland, with few noble exceptions like Fortress. But take a look at Tower...

It would have been a good idea with a town and creature editor, where you could make (wonder what?) towns and creatures. There could be an easy edition where you simply insert pictures, and an advanced edition where you make the animations yourself. It would be great, it would be easier to make story related maps, like disney, zelda or real world.

What if people decide to bring in anime characters? Maybe Pikachu or wth it's name is would make a fine 7'th level soldier. Then I'd have to kill meself...

BOrsuk, I know exactly what you mean. I've bravely and pointlessly fought many wars on this forum and others about the monstruosity called angel, and I have endured many hollow responses from the members who like it.
I can only hope that developers do not seek their inspiration in this sort of threads.
BTW, official voices where talking about a much mature, gloomy might universe. With that angel, they are either blind, or consider us to be blind.

Dude! What's wrong with having a HoMM series especially for the young ones under us?
You won't have to play it man..just ignore or something. I didn't mean this as a replacement but as an addition.

i think it is a great idea, i like the idea of Disney creatures battling it out..
Not sure tho if i would like creatures from same movies in one castle, because as the example above said, why would scar and simba fight in the same team? I think it would be better if the bad guys teamed up with the good guys, that would make it really cool..

Nothin, dude, nothin wrong, just thinkin that would be, like, you know, politically corectness towards the small ones, and I reheheally hate P.C. in general. That kind of P.C. may have lead to that ugly Mrs. Angel. (others see it as a Mrs, not me).
Ain't nothin but expressin a feelin, don't get me wrong or somethin.

I'm sorry you're dissapointed at the angel..but that's not my fault
Again I say it's not meant as a replacement. It's the kiddy version for HoMM.. Kids will love it
and while we're at it we can also make a Diablo2 kiddy version! (ohh..that would be funny!)

Of course it's your fault, too! But rest assured, you're not the only guilty one around.
I think kids who would like Disney's Diablo should still play with dolls and kids who already like Diablo are already rotten, so they wouldn't like it anyway.

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought of something quite different... Disney of Might and Magic! A new park, similar to Disneyland, but representing the world of Might and Magic! The different lands won't be Adventureland, Fantasyland, etc. but Tatalia, Bracada, Avlee... This may become the greatest park in the world!
